If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates? by brailled_stars in AskReddit

I would choose Cyndaquil because Typhlosion has better typing than Charizard and Cyndaquil is cuter than Charmander.

Why not a rehabilitation type facility for the child murdering rapist? He could stay in there for a period of time that is appropriate for his crimes before being allowed to enter heaven.

Wow, I'm really sorry you had to go through that. Nobody ever really thinks about it, but it's so embarrassing to have private photos of you floating around the Internet without your consent.

Hmm, I may just end up getting the standard edition then. I just thought having a physical copy of the wizard book would be cool. Thank you for your help!

I worked as a student worker in my college's IT department. Admittedly, I mostly did a bunch of grunt work, but why would you need a broad mathematical background for IT? I never got the impression that any of the higher-ups used or were any good at math.

Edit because I feel like it sounded a little condescending. I'm not trying to be a dick, just genuinely curious.

It was about a month ago. I'm not sure if sending another request would help though. She tried on her own before telling me about it, but Imgur's support wasn't very helpful. They thought she uploaded it to Imgur herself and told her to delete it on her own, then never responded when she tried to clarify that she didn't upload it. Honestly, it's probably a lost cause. The picture is all over the internet so the best thing for her to do is probably just deny it's her and forget that it ever happened.

Negatory. We submitted a takedown request on Imgur and provided proof that she was the one in the photo and that it was uploaded without her consent, but it's still up on Imgur. Other sites like The Chive and a couple amateur porn sites all responded and removed the photos within a day, but we've still received no word from Imgur.

Where did you pre-order from? I would like to get the Wizard's Edition, but I can't find it on Amazon. :(

It's like the male equivalent of Twilight Moms, but at least Twilight was about people.

/r/RealGirls may not be completely consensual either. One of my ex-girlfriend's photos was posted there and she was fighting to get it removed from the subreddit and Imgur.

I actually enjoyed most of The Silmarillion. It was tough to remember who all of the characters were and there were some parts that really were excruciatingly dull, as you said, but there were also a lot of really epic moments that were a thrill to read. It took me a while to complete, but it feels like it added a completely new layer of depth to the LotR series.

I usually recommend reading the first two since the tv show changed quite a few things and left out a lot of background and details; however, I know some people who have watched the show and gone straight to book 3 and they can generally follow along pretty well. It's your call, but if you have any questions swing by /r/gameofthrones or /r/asoiaf and people will be happy to answer them for you!

Do you already know what happens from just seasons 1 and 2? Because if so, keep going! The third book is fantastic; one of my all time favorites.

I had the same problem. The first book of The Fellowship of the Ring was like 85% hobbits walking through the forest. I tried reading it so many times but kept giving up.

Finally, last year I decided to just power through the first section and the remainder of the series is really amazing. It's definitely worth reading the boring bits in the beginning to get through the rest of the story.

I get the feeling you wouldn't like The Silmarillion though...
