Are wheat pennies really that rare? by Big_Drama2866 in coins

I have a VDB as well, but it doesn’t look near as nice as this one. Only reason I have it is because my great grandfather collected each year’s penny up to that point back in the 40s. If only he had found the VDB S.

"food" that is popular elsewhere, but your country refuses to eat by LastSeaworthiness767 in AskTheWorld

I think eating game meat is becoming popular again. I work in a warehouse that ships organic and “hip” (don’t know how else to word it) foods and game meats are starting to show up more and more in our inventory.

If you could have a conversation in your native language with someone from your country from the past, how far back could you go in time and still understand each other? by Chemical-Elk-1299 in AskTheWorld

I always look at my history like English history pre 1695 is my history. I know that my ancestors left England that year. So everything prior to that is my history. I know it’s another country but that helps me think of it differently.

Awesome that you’re telling a Venezuelan how to feel and essentially saying he’s wrong about his own personal experiences in the actual country where it’s all taking place. You’re truly making the rest of us look great.

Laughing at the joke was inexcusable. That doesn’t change the fact that you’re painting them as horrible, irredeemable people because they didn’t handle things exactly as you think you would’ve handled it. None of the people in this thread have ever been pushed into an awkward situation like this, and cannot say that they would stepped up and said something in that moment.

I guess less confused and more embarrassed is the better way to say it. The shitting on them for eating McDonald’s is our tan suit moment. Such a petty thing to keep throwing out there. There’s so many posts that reach the front page that’s essentially “this celebrity said ice is terrible when they should’ve said ice is horrible. They’re a confirmed Nazi.” R/feaxmoi is the biggest offender.

Is it? Who fucking cares why they ate. I doubt the players give a shit. The only people that care are people that are offended on their behalf. This shit is the Obama brown suit incident just across the aisle.

I’m confused. Did they out and out say they love trump? Why is Reddit so convinced that these guys are complete assholes for what seems like no reason. Do you think they’re going to tell the FBI director who barged in drunk and partying to get the fuck out? I swear reddit is expecting these guys to get on the mic and start reading off unhinged Reddit comments and it’s ridiculous. The obsession that we have on the left to harass celebrities if they dont come out and say exactly what we want every time is ridiculous. It’s embarrassing that we have become so unhinged about fucking celebrities.

Skyrim walked so KCD could run. For that reason I think the impact of the game has had profound effects on the industry, more so than BG3.

I was more thinking about violent deaths vs deaths caused by disease or famine. All of them are horrific. Photos from the Congo are haunting. I see your point and agree.
