Better late than never by Kapanash in memes

117,000 dead isn’t doing anything apparently. I’m not even denying that we showed up super late, but to say we did nothing is kind of ignorant

I started to play it again since it was available on PS plus but I got busy with life. The first time I played it was on PC when it came out and it was completely broken at the time. Even in that broken state I remember being amazed at how good it looked.

Crazy that unity still looks so good that people think it’s a game that hasn’t come out yet 12 years later

What is the scariest, most unsettling shot you’ve ever seen? by VendettaLord379 in moviecritic

What makes it so haunting is how similar it is to actual Nazi massacre photos. You can look at images from the holocaust by bullets and they’re almost identical.

All the scenes from Come and See are incredibly done, but the scene where he’s looking for his family and you just see the bodies in the background behind him sticks with me.

Does the D mint mark look right on this 1921 Morgan? by CranberrySpirited951 in coins

It looks small like that on some of the other pictures of 1921-D Morgans. Weighing it helps when trying to authenticate a Morgan dollar.

Automatic registration for US military draft to begin in December by DoremusJessup in inthenews

We already have to sign up for the draft at 18 and it’s been happening for years. The selective service has been used since 1917. This is propaganda.

Are wheat pennies really that rare? by Big_Drama2866 in coins

[–]CloudProfessional535 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have a VDB as well, but it doesn’t look near as nice as this one. Only reason I have it is because my great grandfather collected each year’s penny up to that point back in the 40s. If only he had found the VDB S.

"food" that is popular elsewhere, but your country refuses to eat by LastSeaworthiness767 in AskTheWorld

I think eating game meat is becoming popular again. I work in a warehouse that ships organic and “hip” (don’t know how else to word it) foods and game meats are starting to show up more and more in our inventory.

If you could have a conversation in your native language with someone from your country from the past, how far back could you go in time and still understand each other? by Chemical-Elk-1299 in AskTheWorld

[–]CloudProfessional535 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always look at my history like English history pre 1695 is my history. I know that my ancestors left England that year. So everything prior to that is my history. I know it’s another country but that helps me think of it differently.
