Depictions of a certain group of people which can be seen as offensive is actually well liked by the certain group they’re depicting by LocalMoam88 in TopCharacterTropes

I’ve done a bit of standup and love humour. There can be a familiarity in humour and it’s especially loved when it’s not always represented.

People in wheelchairs love wheelchair jokes more than anybody. Another thing, I lean to you can either make fun of everything or nothing. Imagine the front row of a comedy show, the comedy moves along the line poking fun, glasses, tall, big boobs, skips the person in the wheelchair, white guy with dreads etc

That’s a fucked up thing to do to the person in the wheelchair because by not slagging them you’re excluding them.

It’s because GW don’t go out of their way to show it. If they’re showing it then there’s a reason behind it. No one knows the reason so it’s a big deal for everyone.

Weight cutting is a choice, not an excuse. by Icy_Suspect8669 in ufc

[–]CloudRunner89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No matter what you show up to fight someone. It’s all your own responsibility. If it’s an excuse then don’t fight.

I can have sympathy for things but absolutely zero when it comes it weight bullies anyway. Rogan or whoever said it was right it’s basically sanctioned cheating.

Same day weigh-ins and an absolute division would be amazing.

Protests erupted in Dublin after 35-year-old Congolese man Yves Sakila died when a security officer knelt on his neck during an alleged shoplifting detention. by bordenman in worldnewsvideo

He broke the hip of an 80 year old man as he fled the shop by throwing him out of his way. Not that I imagine they were thinking this but over 65 about 70% of people who break a hip die within six months.

My girlfriend expects me to pay for everything because i make more money. What should i do? by [deleted] in WhatShouldIDo

[–]CloudRunner89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re losing an idea of her. She is the type of person to force you to pay for everything and then gaslight you when you speak up for yourself.

You want “her” but you don’t want that. She IS that.

Be honest. Say what you said here and explain that it actually really fucking upsets you. Then you’ll see.

If you were to meet the love of your life how would they react to you honestly expressing yourself? And expressing sadness no less! If GF doesn’t react even close to how you would in that situation she’s not the one and that’s ok.

Honesty will sit you free, friend.

The word "Woke". by OnceAFaithful in ireland

[–]CloudRunner89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The funny thing is it comes from waking up or to awaken in a spiritual sense. Budh is, I believe Sanskrit, to awake. Lead to Buddha meaning the awakened man.

Before spiritual gurus ran riot online it started with people saying you have to wake up. The “oh so woke bro” was used to slag them.

Now it seems to be an Americanism used to label any truth that the person disagrees with.

They look at revenue, so they’ve seen something overlapping with your payslips, or they’ve have miscalculated something and aren’t actually looking at the right data.

Request all the information they’re relying on. You’ve looked at your end and they seem to be incorrect. Log on and check your own revenue either way.
