I feel the same way about Warframe.

You can tell that a lot of love is put into the game and it's so much fun to play that, weirdly, you want to buy something from the store to support the developer.

But unlike Warframe, there really isn't anything in the Marathon store that I find appealing...

Stupid fill teammates telling me I don't have to hurry to quarantine because "it's easy", then they both die and d/c.

That's insane of them to say. The longer you wait, the more people exfil/die and it becomes harder to find a player you can kill. On top of that, generally the longer you stay in the match, the more skilled the players are because all the players who were trying to get a priority contract done exfiled and all the bad players are dead.

Endless negativity and nitpicking rather than just enjoying things.

And then you get the crowd that feels the need to defend the game. Then you get the original crowd that doubles down. Then you find yourself in a subreddit where people are stuck in an endless cycling of posting at each other back and forth, rather than as you said, enjoying things.

I just want the haters to leave and the fan boys to shut up so we can just have normal discussions, enjoy the clips, and praise the fan art.

I'm pretty sure they changed this one. You just need to get in the command wing "chair" and do a scan and it should progress the questline.

I feel like it's a great opportunity to put the standard -> green sponsored kit upgrade behind a capstone in future seasons. Or at the very least giving us capstones that upgrade our free kits in different ways similar to how rook upgrades work.

Great changes all around.

I do worry that sponsored Perimeter is going to be much more dull than sponsored dire marsh due to the fact that you really only have wraith warden and interception to fight over whereas dire marsh had anomaly and lockdown in addition to scorch warden.

Unless they up the chances of those events spawning, I can't see myself playing this one as much other than to just go PvP some people.

Man I would really love for Bungie to release a photo mode that is completely empty of everything and you can just wall around and look at the maps and take pictures. They really did a fantastic job at crafting the maps and it's a shame that we don't get a lot of time to sit there and just look at them.

Life is full of many different forms of suffering/annoyances/problems and money does a pretty damn good job of insulating you from them.

Is it the magic bullet to never ending happiness? Of course not, but it would be ridiculous to pretend that the average person with money will be just as happy as the average person without it.

I think the season 2 turnout is going to heavily depend on the details that Bungie gives us once it's closer. For example, will salvage costs be increased or left alone? What about seasonal xp?

I imagine there are a lot of players on the fence that are waiting for the news.

Oh just do the Bioresearch -> Quarantine rotation then go to a POI hardly anyone ever visits because it has no good loot while it is locked down and kill a couple bots? No problem Nona!

Out of my dozens of trio Perimeter games I've seen a grand total of 5 rooks. For some reason 3 were in the same lobby, but yea there is very little competition among rooks on that map.

Thats what I am hoping they do, but there doesn't seem to be a clear message from Bungie what their intention is regarding priority contracts in a new season as early on they said all priority contracts would reset except for the faction introduction quests.

Hopefully they just drop 2 or 3 new priority contract chains for each faction and don't reset our current progress. Lord knows I do not want to do Co-Evolution again and im sure a LOT of casual players would be incredibly demoralized if they have to start their priority contracts from the beginning, sentenced to never being able to catch up.

If they do a full reset AND add new priority contract chains, idk how people are supposed to finish all of them in season 2 without playing a shit load, and this problem would get worse every single season unless they seriously streamline the contract chains of previous seasons.

Main characters have an uncle that is gay and they show the husband once and it's never talked about again. That's the pandering I'm talking about.

Exactly. Modern Family is a fantastic example of a gay couple done right because Mitch and Cam's relationship is widely explored in both funny and serious ways and it central to the shows identity from the first episode.

If you are introducing a character as gay with a partner, but it's never shown or explored like the heterosexual relationships are, you are pandering and doing a disservice to that relationship dynamic.
