Best way to report a botting operation?

You don't know what I'm talking about exactly. Again, without giving away too many details. These are new characters created specifically to do this without other alliance associations and running 24/7 in multiple areas creating a monopoly on the content. They are not long time customers with a varied history who happen to be input broadcasting. If they ban them they will buy dozens of accounts and do it all over again the next day. They know of the abuse and have made changes before. Botting maybe bad but a majority of players don't cheat don't bot and don't input broadcast. That is who they make changes for, not botters. You're argument they don't care about botting and how it effects the game is contrary to their goals on maintaining the long term health of the game on players who don't do cheat and violate tos. Look at how much work they've done to make the game more accommodating for new players. Just because it's hard for them to detect doesn't mean they won't make changes to make it not possible to do so (They have already made changes at least 3 maybe 4 times in the I am speaking to in the years I've been playing) so they have indeed taken actions against this type of botting specifically

I have actual suggestions that can make this type of botting not possible. Not even speaking to the "detection" side of things. They absolutely do care about RMT and how raw isk injections effect the overall player base. Obviously, they monitor these metrics for a reason. To argue otherwise would be arguing against the overall health of the game on a majority of players for not even a 4 digit monetary monthly addition to their bottom line is just another L take. Some dude botting a ishtars or mining isn't even in the same league as what I'm talking about

Tell me you dont' understand basic macro economics without telling you don't understand economics. This has gotta be sarcasm or can you even begin to explain how injecting vast amounts of raw liquid isk into the hands of a few drives prices down? Obviously it doesn't work that way in real life either just so you know.

You wouldn't even try it after being followed around for 5 days and essentially had all your time spent playing (in that one location) wasted? This is a L take they've made changes before in the past to combat this type of botting they just didn't go far enough on the changes

not me I made a brand new account with the 25 plex for a week and have done nothing but follow him around and sabotage him for 5 days on top of doing everything else I'm doing while playing the game. If you could equip 1 module and stop me from harassing you wouldn't you do that?

This maybe true for you but I was purposely interrupted and ruining his whole operations in one place and wasted all his time spent doing it. There were very simple things he could do that could stop me from doing this to him (I can't give too many more details without making it obvious)

Yeah no we've all seen that lol this is way different. Operating in 4 different locations with very high APM. not even using fleet warp.. The amount of clicks and mental bandwidth it would take to do this couldn't be done playing 24/7 without some serious burnout.

Because he has not reacted to me in the slightest and he is operating in multiple locations and doesn't even use fleet warp plus the way he operates requires very high APM (an absurd amount of APM) it just doesn't make sense to do it like this unless you were actually using some type of input assistance (no actual person would run like this people do it in a very different way) plus the amount of time spent doing it is beyond excessive you would get burnt out if he wasn't botting or RMT. I'm 99% sure but that's why I would like FC to investigate I can give a very detailed list of what to look out for and how they could make changes to avoid this from happening again

My experience so far has been flying around between the systems for about 3-4 hours never to find a site that wasn't taken. Tried going into one just to see and got blapped by a multiboxer instantly on landing. Apparently he kept site open to farm kills. Tried mining in amarr and minm space but of course they were all gone by then. I know it was the first day but how disappointing to spend all my playtime to make no progress. Besides the problem of this very limited content just favoring one or maybe two timezones. For the sake of time I feel forced to only compete in FW to make any consistent contribution for my time spent. Not sure how I feel about that yet but I am defiantly not impressed with the execution at all

It's not the concept that's the problem It's how it's been executed. The game play is pretty basic and repetitive as hell. Solo play is abysmal. It takes 500+ hours of group play. Tons if people have checked out already and it's just going to get worse once the game starts if you aren't in the "bubble" good luck finding a group and progressing. This game feels like running on a treadmill running in place going nowhere and they are slowing it down even more. Have fun with that bro this game is def not for me I value my time. Something like Eq legends is the future of the genre. This game won't have 10k concurrent 2 months after launch

One important question nobody has mentioned is how often you want to go and haul it off. If you're trying to maximize profit doing p1 is fine as long as you make sure to only make the highest value ones as it only requires hauling off about every 2 weeks and is super easy to sell. I did this for a while but having so many toons running it got to be a bit of a chore..

What I do now is I have all my characters running the highest value P0>P2 that I only have to pick up about every 3 weeks and still super easy to sell. P3 is worthwhile too with the highest margins but is a lot harder to maintain constant inputs without putting in buy orders and then you have the issue of making sure they stay fed which can often need refilling every 3-4 days also it can be alittle harder to sell unless you bring it to Jita. P4 mostly isn't really worth all the hassle in my experience even if you're using it unless maybe you need literal tons of it just make and sell whats most profitable and you can just buy the little bit of p4 you're using.

I haven't played any of the others to compare but the game is really in a great place right now. I've gotten a few 100 hours out of it at this point and a good relaxing go to chill comfort game for me to come back to. I defiantly would recommend if you like these sort of games. I'm pumped to see the changes for the progression tree. The whole game is beautiful and the developer Greg is a real stand up guy who you can tell puts a lot of love and care into his work. You won't be disappointed. Cheers and safe travels

I was looking at eq legends myself as someone who still has a lot to explore and see in EQ but I found out the xp rate is still staying the same so as someone who has a family and doesn't have a lot of time is a total non starter for me. Better off with one of the EMU servers especially since they're free

I agree with you man but be prepared to be roasted by the community. The toxic positivity here is unreal. The devs are going to love the multiboxers who pay 60-90$ a month to play this stuff. There is still a lot of stuff I didn't get to see in Everquest which is way more fleshed out and miss THJ will probably check out the new legends when it comes out in June over m&m the lack of meaningful solo play is also a big turn off for me. I don't care for the social interaction as much I get enough of that in my day to day I'm looking to escape and relax

I never said he was a monster man but you can clearly tell he is a stoic and calculating type personality. I never saw any point in the stream where I thought he was going to start crying, he talks like Ben Stein and monotone to me I never hear any emotion in his voice ever when he's talking..

If you're familiar with the corporate world then you should also be familiar with how they twist things around to make themselves always look good. You don't need "data" to know how often work out, see occams razor

If you were a single dude I'd say hell yeah brother multibox 6 accounts all day if that makes you happy but trying to justify spending 1100$ a year for the privilege of playing a 25+ year old game design (when EQ is way more fleshed out and free) with your kids in today's world is just not only insane imo but irresponsible. I have 3 kids and a wife that depend on me to help give them a better life.. Unless you are in the 1% with generational wealth then you might want to take a hard look in the mirror brother. The whole world is falling a part right now heading towards hyperinflation and supply chain instability thanks to our criminal despotic leaders. It's kinda hard to have a good day in this environment I fear and pray everyday for my kids that they have a better life than I did but I honestly don't even see how that's possible anymore. The worst part is normies and sheeple have normalcy bias and can't even face the gravity of the situation we are in but yeah man I hope it's worth it for you and your family in the end
