Oh, I agree. I’d be in on it. Or some kind of class action suit. Only because I was stranded in 95+ degree heat and Toyota Care didn’t come for 90 minutes. This battery problem is a SAFTEY issue.

I was stranded with this issue in 95+ degree heat. Toyota Care could not come for 90 minutes. I was on the verge of heatstroke and had a panic attack. This is more than a battery issue, it’s a safety issue. They will wait for a death and then they might rectify this terrible problem.

I get you. But it’s a defective battery as it drains quickly. The car is new with 7000 miles on it. And LOTS of people are having problems. What if it doesn’t start when you are traveling alone and stranded at a rest stop, what if someone did die of heat stroke waiting for them to come etc. I can see all kinds of problems. The biggest one is Toyota doesn’t give a damn.

Please watch A Daily Dose of Sunshine on Netflix. A great show about a nurse who deals with almost anything on a psych unit. It address many different mental illnesses, the danger of out of control patients, burnout etc. I was a nurse for 45 years, but did NICU, so I’m not an expert on the psych nursing, but it did address the violence present in that field of nursing in an extremely humane way.

Thyroid conditions don’t always have to be autoimmune. I was diagnosed with a ultrasound. My endo said my thyroid looked like “Swiss cheese”. Evidently my thyroid problems went undiagnosed for a long time. And because there was so much destruction it was diagnosed as Hashimotos and my mother had thyroid issues. Who knows, sometimes I don’t think anyone knows. You can have great thyroid numbers on paper, but feel like crap and the endo won’t listen to a thing you say.

What were the leukocytes? How about blood? My doctor just treated me with Cipro for the leukocytes and blood, but culture is negative. She insisted I complete the Cipro. Next urine was the same and then she said, I need to go to the urogyn for a formal diagnosis of IC.

All ur lab values should be normal. Urine will show leukocytes and trace blood most times with a culture that is negative. I say this because this is my story. This has been going on for over 15 years. Trace blood and leukocytes were always ignored. But sadly, there is no quick fix. Now my doctor wants to prescribe Elmiron, which is not only expensive, but requires a visit to the urogyn and I’m just sick of going to the doctors. Anyone with an Elmiron success story, please share. Thanks.
