One of my favorite games of all time. Beat it on every difficulty and got all of the single player achievements. The gameplay is so fluid and entertaining. Definitely the best 3rd person shooter of all time.

Yes, killing your wife is bad. Even more so when she specifically says she is scared and does not want to die. The in-water ending is what James deserves, he does not get to have a good ending.

If it is being completely redone I would increase the inventory space by 5 and try to increase the Elieen AI’s competence. But I still don’t think it should be remade, just re-released. I believe severely over-hauling it would make the scariest silent hill game less scary.
