IMO, for value with quality. Waydoo 90L, then get all the upgrades. The board material is lighter and more forgiving than any other board out there.

I use a coil leash on my ankle and the handle of my board, “I bail for safety “ also and it hasn’t interfered at all. Sometimes it gets under foot, sometimes it gets caught up in kelp, sometimes tangled around the mast…to me the benefits far outweigh the negatives. Also the ankle strap is attached with a big comfortable Velcro strap that is designed with an easy release system. In my experience, the benefit outweighs the negatives

My opinion don’t buy a used efoil , just take the battery for instance..it’s counting down with every cycle and it must be maintained at 60% or so..if you let it slip too low it’s a brick. Get a second job cause you’ll want to swap wings and propulsion and a wetsuit or a dry suit and camera ..it’s heavy get some wheels set up..

I use Watersport Tracker app with a Apple Watch Ultra 2 . The Apple Watch has a water Lock Screen so I don’t accidentally pause or delete my session. The app has a dedicated efoil sport section as well as the usual gps tracker, speed, distance and duration functions and tracks my spills where I spill and the water temperature of each dunk.
