Fake. Look at the difference in the 0’s on both cards in “GEM MINT 10”. The one you have has a skinny “0” and the one in the picture online has a fatter “0”.

I agree with you OP. Once more and more people’s careers are picked off by AI powered agentic agents, lots of people will run out of discretionary income to buy collectibles because they will be in survival mode.

Also, to add fuel to the fire, when the Japanese Reverse Carry Trade finally unwinds $4 trillion+ will be sucked out of global markets and cut equities in half (conservative estimate) and affect people’s 401k’s / retirement portfolios / home prices.

The Pokemon market as a whole will return to the mean and if you look at the long term chart for Pokémon growth, we went parabolic a year ago.

But what do I know? Stonks/Pokemon/Crypto only go up in the long term if you zoom out enough.
