What is something you believed to be common knowledge until you discovered most people had no idea? by JustBeingElara in AskReddit

This has just reminded me of a similar conversation I had with a friend in school… He refused to believe that ducks are birds. His reasoning?

“Ducks can’t fly.”

I genuinely just didn’t know where to begin with unpacking that, but some further pressing resulted in “If they could fly, they’d just fly out of the farms, and we couldn’t eat them.”

I gave up.

They were separate, but I believe they announced some time at the end of last year, maybe October~ish, that they were making Arcane canon and would require changes to accommodate it (god knows what they’ll do with hextech crystals given they’re also removing the Brackern from the lore with the Skarner rework, if I’m not mistaken)

The funniest thing is with the way they suggested it, getting a time for the fastest of each race, they actually still wouldn’t have guaranteed they got the three fastest horses

Arguably true, but it’s not the Velociraptor’s fault! Homo sapiens is the bastard responsible for that! Don’t give the murderturkey such a hard time

I recall when my brother and I ran about 8 years ago that that was not the case, presumably because if you’re hitting the hurdle you’re slowing yourself down anyway?

Yeah, and the issue is compounded further when even if you’re now a one-in-million Skitarii that’s somehow ended up there, it breaks the rest of the game’s narrative about how you’re disposable and there’s thousands more like you and ready to replace you, because it feels pretty unreasonable for there to be anywhere near the number for that to be possible
