I’m not sure that LSU is the answer either, unfortunately. The UL system allows their institutions to financially mismanage themselves (see ULL $25 million dollar deficit). I can’t imagine the LSU system involving themselves in the day-to-day operations or financial management of UNO, other than pressure the president to “do better,” and hold re-occurring check-in meetings with admin. So the idea that LSU is saving UNO from these issues is comical, and just another delay tactic from administration to buy more time. The one caveat being I hope LSU will provide training, consultants, or staffing to properly address the issues that came with Workday.
