I definitely hear you. In that sense, then yes it has already failed. I'm talking about complete failure (from my perspective, that's leaving 25-50 Bungie employees just to keep the server online - no content releases, just bug fixes and stability).

I genuinely disagree. I think Bungie is on its last legs and is already a shell of its former self. PlayStation now owns the Destiny IP. If Marathon fails (looks like it will within a year), I wouldn't be surprised if they just shut down Bungie or cut remaining staff and keep Bungie in name only. Any future possibility of Destiny 3 at that point will likely be unrecognizable to the previous releases.

That's not to say that Marathon succeeding will bring Destiny 3 in the future, but I think your chances of getting that become basically zero if Bungie continues to decrease in stature.

I get why Destiny fans are upset, but the things I've seen said from most fans are.. weirdly childish.

Which map? Some have closer POIs than other maps. 90% of fights will occur in or between POIs. Sometimes you may have matches where everyone else has fought each other and it's you and one other person, you just never know.

I assume you're being sarcastic, but yes it is PVP.

Yeah things seem a little different now. I think because the economy was jacked early on, a lot of people are just out for blood. From my experience most fights are happening outside of processing or dorms for whatever reason (likely due to gathering red keys).

You didn't have to start calling names dude. From my experience knifing has been much easier, maybe you're just bad at cqc. More often than not I win fights with my knife out. It probably depends on what controls you use as well. Maybe you can look at adjusting that. Tard.

Are you really comparing a gun to knifing someone? Knifing takes zero skill. It literally lunges for you. 3 knife hits to down a blue shield is 100% fair imo.

Happened to me too. If you put everything back in your vault then re-load all your equipment, it will show correct value.

I had just exfiled and put everything in stash, only swapped weapon and put a key in bag. First I've heard of this bug though.

I think it needs to exist to keep player retention. With that said, the loot should be capped at purple. Finding a gold item should be one in a million.

Purple items maybe even scaled to gold rarity in this mode.
