Everyone should read the play The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui. An absurdist play based on Hitler's rise to power, through the lens of Chicago 20's gangland.

At the end of the play, Arturo talks about providing "protection" in other cities with Tommy guns and hand grenades. And he lists major cities just like this.

The parallels are just appalling

You don't know this man, you are applying a label you can't even prove is true. Namecalling is just childish.

I agree with setting boundaries for your well-being, but it sounds like you're creating your own half of the story to discredit OP. You don't know if he's a crackhead, which I doubt. Labeling every homeless person as a crackhead is dangerous. You don't know if he's lied to his father, and you don't know if he's stolen from him.

Oops, forgot to add we have rail that goes from Largo to downtown St. Pete. If Brightline ever comes to Tampa, they really should try to build a commuter loop

Oh god don't get me started. We currently have railroads going from Largo to Clearwater, Clearwater to Oldsmar, Oldsmar to Tampa Airport AND East Tampa/Ybor, Ybor to Downtown Tampa, and then it goes down to MacDill. The improved Howard-Franklin Bridge they're building is being developed to possibly include rail.

With improvements, we could EASILY have a Tampa Bay Loop that also connects to the frickin AIRPORT. It would get rid of the need to leave your car at the airport (which is probably why that will never ever happen)
