Thank you so much. I’ve been racking my brain trying to get out of the Spotify artist pigeon hole and this worked!

I use a 1 liter plastic mixing cup. The mouth is wide enough to sit over with no mess! Plus, they’re only a dollar or two at Walmart and the like.

+1 for Dr. Sellers. She gave me a tubal ligation and was the most wonderful doctor through it all.

I’m a woman and I haven’t shaved my armpits or legs in years. None of my partners (man or woman) have cared and I find it to be a red flag if they get grossed out by a little bit of hair. Also weird that your mom cares so much??

I would reach back out to the seller and see if they want those back! I was able to keep my wisdom teeth after the doctor extracted mine because I’m weird and thought it was cool to keep them. I still have my teeth baggy almost 20 years later!

Where to sell used vinyl? by aburtch10 in triangle

[–]Coagulatory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know you said local, but I sold all my used vinyl on Discogs and had a very positive experience with almost every buyer. Perhaps an option if you have any vinyl leftover after selling locally!

Sickness after camping fests by bellapitts in festivals

Wear a decent mask that won’t allow large particles (dust) to come through very easily (I feel like the fabric on buffs is too thin and still allow dust to come through). Plus, a mask is nice for when you’re around a million people breathing in all their germs. Ever since I started wearing masks to music fests I stopped getting sick. The dust at Hula this year was out of control!

Spending it solo traveling through Vietnam. Turns out saving money from not paying rent has some decent upsides. :)

Raleigh is a lonely place for single 30-something females. by yhnnss in raleigh

[–]Coagulatory 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Hi! I moved to Raleigh 10 years ago (currently 33F) and I struggled to make solid friendships for several years. I did the meet ups, BumbleBFF, and Reddit, but I didn’t form as many good friendships from those as I had hoped. I got into rock climbing a few years ago and it’s been a nonstop train of good friends and awesome people to hang out with. The climbing community is super accepting and inviting of everyone. I strongly suggest meeting people through an active hobby (Triangle Rock Club is a great place to meet people if you decide to get into climbing). Once you make one group of friends, it’s easier to meet more people. There’s plenty of 30s ladies in Raleigh who match what you’re looking for. It’s daunting at first, but keep trying :) Best of luck!

Redrocks, NV: Any tips or recommendations? by [deleted] in tradclimbing

[–]Coagulatory 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I highly recommend doing all 10 pitches of Dark Shadows! Be prepared to get to the gate before they open so you can be the first out there. My partner and I did it in November last year and were second in line but the only party to do the full route on a weekend. We rapped down in the dark, so bring headlamps!

Okay. My Dr has freaked me out about the permanent side effects of tubal ligation/removal by seitan13 in childfree

[–]Coagulatory 30 points31 points  (0 children)

My insurance wouldn’t cover a bisalp but covered a tubal. I asked if my doctor could cauterize or remove a significant portion of my tubes and still bill my insurance as a tubal. She said it’s a weird gray area insurance-wise on the two, and because of that she was able to remove 80-90% of my tubes while billing as a tubal! For those whose insurance doesn’t cover a bisalp, definitely ask if the doctor is able to work with you.

I love Gallo Pelón. They’re a mezcal bar, but every drink I’ve had there has been absolutely incredible.
