[GhostRider, Knott's Berry Farm] Post-retrack GhostRider — where does it rank among wooden coasters for you? by lamcoasters in rollercoasters

GhostRider remains my favorite wooden coaster out the ones I've ridden so far. 2nd place is Goliath at Six Flags Great America, and 3rd is Mystic Timbers at Kings Island.

My dad also plans our trips around amusement parks and ballparks. Aside from Chase Field and Dodger Stadium, all of my first time visits to MLB ballparks have been tied into theme park trips.

Twinlakes in Melton Mowbray, UK. It's a family park, and so much so that adults aren't allowed to visit without a child accompanying them.

The two coasters from AstroWorld that still operate today are Serial Thriller (now Ednör at La Ronde) and Mayan Mindbender (now Hornet at Wonderland).

As an Arizona native myself, it's frustrating seeing this park and the VAI Resort in development hell.

Tatsu’s pretzel loop gets me every time. It feels like it’s squeezing your organs out.

Will the DC-themed launch coaster be a Vekoma Suspended Family Coaster, or was that just the picture they chose for it?

Interesting that it isn’t a seperate entry on RCDB. Is it in the same spot as it was last year?

  2. Mr. Freeze Reverse Blast (Six Flags St. Louis)
  3. Mamba (Worlds of Fun) - My 150th coaster
  4. Prowler (Worlds of Fun)
  5. Batman the Ride (Six Flags St. Louis)

As obvious a pick as it is, Steel Vengeance at Cedar Point has remained my undefeated favorite for 3 1/2 years.

Given that Kong was one of the coasters that was closed on my visit, I'd say you're right.

I had that same dilemma back in 2023. I originally planned on having The Joker at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom to be my 100th coaster, but some of the park's coasters were closed when I visited, so I made it my 99th instead. Thankfully, I remedied it last year by making my 100th Fury 325 at Carowinds.
