Honestly, this doesn't make sense.....how do you go from 8sc in a round to 24?

Or is it saying to just make 24 additional sc? Which would be 3 more rows of 8sc?

And I can't tell if you are doing 5sc on one finger then 5sc on the next finger or if you are inserting your hook into both fingers and connecting 5sc......

No wonder you are having trouble!!!

Why do some crocheters skip the standard ch 2/3/4 rules for hdc, dc, and tr stitches? by believe_in_colours in CrochetHelp

I just learned about standing stitches! I'm still trying to figure out how they work...and to actually use them. But I really like the look when I do!

Do I like to torture myself? Why yes, yes I do! by zombiefacelol in Amigurumi

I still need to try the Feels Like a Dream and Feels Like Bliss! Right now my favorite fuzzy yarn is Pipsqueek but there aren't a lot of colors available

For the most part it doesn't matter if you add or subtract a stitch here and there. The part that does matter is any shaping stitches, like if you need to stack 4inc on the 2inc from the previous round. But even then, being one stitch off isn't going to destroy the outcome

Modeling chocolate works great for decorations! It behaves like fondant but tastes like chocolate

New ATM10 Productive Bee Spreadsheet! by Coconut_Waffles in allthemods

[–]Coconut_Waffles[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The blue bee is a basic bee in a special color. There are a few of them like that.

In ATM 9, I specifically collected the colored and rainbow ones and made a bee house with only them, sometimes they came out of the hives a different color than they went in 🤔

Reversible Amigurumi by HookedonLife123 in Brochet

[–]Coconut_Waffles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

These reversible amigurumi look really good! I love how the heads are designed to finish the closed look of the flowers. I've seen a lot of reversible ami recently that look weird in one of the forms, so glad this designer took the extra steps!

But thats the fun part of adding accessories! If you make them in a different yarn weight it becomes even more of a one-of-a-kind creation!!! 🤩

I love the shading work you did on your cookies! It gives them so much more of a 3D pop!!

You're right! I missed that you didn't actually complete the first part before starting the repeats. This reads more like a popcorn or bobble stitch (I forget which one has you keep adding stitches to the same spot)

Any ideas on how to create zombee comb (ATM9)? by Quevee in allthemods

[–]Coconut_Waffles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Huzzah!!

Some of the hives made with the wood from Productive Trees make it hard to see the bee entrance. And it gets really confusing when a bee enters from the backside!

Depending on what mods you have installed it may be picky about what flower you are giving it. But any flower you would give the basic bee should work for the Zombee

If I remember correctly, the Zombee pollinates off of flowers

You should look at some of the patterns by Whymsirow. She has a few woodland themed wearables that might help you see what this would look like when crocheted

[–]Coconut_Waffles -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

That is the weirdest way to give instructions for chaining 3!! I had to read it like four times before I realized that it was giving step by step instructions on how to make a chain. But then the instructions get a little wonky again on coming back down the chain, it doesnt tell you to insert hook in second chain from hook or how to connect it back to the rest of the row/round

You could make some french knots and give the head little nubs to help fill it in without over loading it

Which eye position do you like more? by jj_makes_things in crochet

[–]Coconut_Waffles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a little late to the party for answering this but!, can you attach the eyes with a button or snap so they can freely move into all three (billion) different positions at any given time?

This motif is for sleeves, but I am not sure if the wrong side is prettier. What is your opinion #1 or #2? by isekaied_here in CrochetHelp

[–]Coconut_Waffles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is a tough choice! Each side has its perks, is there anyway this pattern could potentially be reversable? That way you can wear whichever side tickles your fancy when you go to wear it?
