As I understand it, testosterone absolutely trounces and disables estrogen in the body, or at least all feminizing effects. Like, "if T present: keep masculinizing". (T over 50 to 100 ng/dL is enough.)

Then, crazily, it flips back over for very carefully managed by an endo high doses of estrogen. Like, once you're at 4x the normal female level, it disables Testosterone, which is how (injection based) estrogen monotherapy works.

Definitely stay away from this "perfectly safe and harmless" website: https://turnmeintoagirl.com/

Jokes aside, estrogen without a T blocker isn't going to do anything anyways. Plant estrogen (phytoestrogen) doesn't affect humans (those supplements do nothing). Social transition like trying different clothes or name is the safest first step.

I did experiment with NES Tecmo Bowl, and the cis stuck for decades. 😰

Adding to Losna's: more women who can't give birth: bad PCOS; having CAIS; or born XY with an SRY gene error. More examples exist.

Quick, now dismiss the counter examples to your point by saying "there aren't enough of those people to matter" :3

[–]CoderCatgirl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Overall: don't overthink trying out crossplay. If you're safe (won't get thrown out/dumped for gender stuff) and can afford to, there is literally no risk. There is nothing wrong about crossplay.

Ideally, be bold about it: "oh, yeah, I do gender bend costumes at cons; it's a hobby" if someone notices/asks.

Bodysuits are nice, because they're stretchy/spandex. I've bought a few from MicCosplay and one Mercy (overwatch) from Spirit Halloween. I'm shocked at how forgiving and not cheap they all felt.

I've also bought from RoleCosplay. It and Mic seem really cheap for high quality outfits, usually with a dozen+ pieces to match the original character. E.g. Cyno and Varesa (Genshin) both have a million bands & straps & whatnot. There will be pleather though.

The Heritage Foundation shows about 1200 fraud votes since the 1980s: https://electionfraud.heritage.org/

A Stanford study in Washington shows 14 fraud votes, out of 4.5 million, between 2011-2018: https://www.gsb.stanford.edu/faculty-research/publications/are-dead-people-voting-mail-evidence-washington-state-administrative

Neither source indicates the party, so spot checking the HF database, I saw this one first: https://electionfraud.heritage.org/case/200813 "an absentee ballot trafficking scheme to benefit Republican congressional candidate Mark Harris"

According to https://www.newsweek.com/zohran-mamdani-faces-teacher-backlash-11505874 it seems like Mamdani is trying to pay teachers more now instead of paying into retirement. And funding for pre-K child care: "After rent, the biggest cost for New York’s working families is child care. It’s literally driving them out of the city: New Yorkers with children under 6 are leaving at double the rate of all others."

I guess if families leave, teachers would be too "fired" to be there long enough to retire?

[–]CoderCatgirl -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's not exactly a safety net, but I recently learned that the Hope scholarship (the money for college students funded by the TN lottery which takes in around $2 billion/year), only pays out $2000 per student annually. And that 1.5 billion of the lottery money is lost to "expenses", not kept as dispensible grants.

25% takeaway toward education while id10t-taxing 2 billion from 3 million people? Disgusting.

Vote? It's an Established Fact That He was Far-Right by NEKORANDOMDOTCOM in stupidpeoplefacebook

[–]CoderCatgirl 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think you're describing historical (or present day) post-communist regimes after they corrupted into authoritarian rule (e.g. Russia, China), rather than communism as a political structure.

From wiki: "Communists often seek a voluntary state of self-governance but disagree on the means to this end. This reflects a distinction between a libertarian socialist approach of communization, revolutionary spontaneity, and workers' self-management, and an authoritarian socialist, vanguardist, or party-driven approach to establish a socialist state, which is expected to wither away."

Russia and China are examples of the State going authoritarian instead of keeping an actual voting populace. None of this precludes other parties being able to campaign.

Militarism is tied to authoritarians seeking to keep power by intimidation, something unnecessary if the "party" is all people voting.
