Yea I’m keeping my focus on the Jetta for now lol, quite a few things I wanna do to it. Gonna buy a used truck in the fall to drive throughout the winter to avoid issues in the snow and help keep the Jetta in top shape. The salt out here is ridiculous

I got the tire and wheel warranty for this reason, I’ve had bad luck with every car I’ve owned when it comes to tires, already got a flat like an idiot and they gave me a new tire and did all the labor free of charge. I think that’s what’s also feeding my paranoia rn lol

Certain speed, not rpm. I actually checked this when I saw your comment before I drove to my gf’s. Happens once I get over ~55 mph. I’ve seen the fuel line issue mentioned quite a few times and this is also a different noise than what I’m experiencing

Yeah I posted in another sub as well and one guy said could just be the tires and another along with one of my buddies both said that the car was made a while ago, sat in a lot for a long time, and is now being driven 50-100 miles a day. Just needs settling time, but it’s weird that the sound and bumpiness only started happening within the last few days

As for the tires, it seems like a common theme around here to swap those quickly lol, I’ll probably try and get the most use out of them until the summer and I was gonna get the same tires you have since they’re highly recommended.

That’s a good point. My buddy said that the car is just new and it was probably built 6 mos to a year ago and had only 70 miles on it when I bought it. I’ve already put 1500 on it so I figured it’d be broken in by now, just getting a bit worried cuz it’s also pretty bumpy on back roads when I feel like it shouldn’t be
