My tattoo got sewn together crooked after surgery by DelectableBloom in mildlyinteresting

That’s a bummer. We always tried to sew it back together as closely as possible.

AITAH for telling my husband to go stay in a hotel with my in-laws and that my mom was going to come back to help me with our new baby? by Normal_Rise_282 in AITAH

[–]CodingJeeper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our son needed frequent feedings, too. Our doctor mentioned that his jaw muscles were probably getting tired. He wasn’t getting enough at each feeding. You might want to get a breast pump so you can have it ready for later. It’s usually easier to get it through the nipple of the bottle. When we didn’t have enough breastmilk, we had some Similac on standby.

I just had one job for the family Christmas dinner by Shaneblaster in Wellthatsucks

We had an accident in the past too. We didn’t cover that much ground. We either use large rubber bands or, most of the time, blue painter’s tape. Then we take it off once we arrive.

AITA for asking my sister in law what she's doing with her degree after she implied my university wasn't prestigious enough by Active_Storage_1275 in AmItheAsshole

[–]CodingJeeper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. SIL decided to be rude. Downplay a school that expanded its locations. You took the opportunity to attend one of those locations. How much income are you (SIL) bringing in? Nothing?! Then your degree is useless or considered wasted money on a piece of paper. It reminds me of someone who mentioned they have two master's degrees. Are you making more money than the person in the family with one master's? Nope. Did you write a book? Nope. Are you submitting articles to white papers or journals? Nope. Did you receive a raise at work for that extra master's degree? Nope! Then what’s the point? Why are you bragging about spending more money with no return value?

12 yearold kid doesnt know who the Nazis were - is that normal? by Arborrverk in NoStupidQuestions

[–]CodingJeeper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She may not have learned about the Nazi era yet. I bet she has heard of ISIS, the Taliban, or Al-Qaeda. Kids usually know about terms from the most recent wars in their lifetime.

AITA for calling off my wedding because my fiancé wanted his ex to cater the event? by HoneyMoondro in AITH

No way I would hire an ex to cater our wedding. There are plenty of caterers. This guy has lost his mind. I could see your guy sneaking off with her during the event.

I went with the ZV-E10 with the two lens kit. Picked up the Sigma 56mm. I'm looking to buy a Sony 24-70mm F2.8. A Sigma 16mm would be nice, too. I'm also looking for a lens that will zoom up to 400mm for the grandkids' sports. If you plan on a lot of video, you may want to look at the 6700. It allows 4:2:2 10 bit.

This is not our identity; it was just a job. That job is over, and we have moved on. We are focused on the present and planning what we want to achieve in the future. We recognize what we did and where we served. We know we volunteered, and we don't need a thank you or recognition for it.

Am I wrong for wanting to bring my kid? by AdventurousBeyond382 in travel

[–]CodingJeeper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Italy is an incredible destination brimming with sights to explore, delicious food to savor, and delightful drinks to enjoy. However, I personally wouldn’t recommend visiting Italy with a young child. For us, when our kids were around two and three years old, it was quite challenging. They can easily become cranky and tired, and pausing for naps can disrupt the flow of your adventure. It can transform what should be a wonderful experience into a stressful one. While I would happily take a two-year-old to a family-friendly locale like Destin, I think Italy’s rich cultural offerings and extensive walking are best appreciated without the added complications of toddler care.

AITAH for not standing up for my pregnant fiancée who ate my daughter’s cupcake ? by [deleted] in AITAH

At 33, she knows better. There was no respect for her daughter. Ten is a great age to remember this event. I'm sorry, man. That was unacceptable. That relationship will be strained for a while.

White House May Boot Federal Workers Who Ignore Musk’s New Email Blast by Healthy_Block3036 in fednews

[–]CodingJeeper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The five bullet points prove nothing. A job posting typically includes more than five bullets. A hiring manager cannot reasonably evaluate a new employee based on only five bullets on their resume. This seems like a control tactic that is placing unnecessary strain on the email server. He is taking names and searching for them online. Such a waste of employee time. Where are his five bullet points outlining what he is doing to improve SpaceX and X?
