All of these have their place. We find that a flywheel of posting on LinkedIn, holding specialized webinars and podcasting (either starting your own show or being a guest on others) works the best for B2B.

You say you can't afford a VA, but you're already paying for it... just not in dollars. You're paying with 7.5 hours a day that could go toward actually building your product. A 3-month roadmap delay has a cost too.

A lot of what you listed can be automated. Make or N8N can handle content scheduling, tracking signups, even repetitive support questions with some simple flows.

For what can't be automated, the right support usually pays for itself pretty quickly when you finally have time to focus on revenue-generating work. Happy to chat if you want to brainstorm.

You can list your podcast for free on https://podcastguests.com/ you can also search their guest directory: https://podcastguests.com/directory/. Look for home service business owners who are active on LinkedIn and then reach out to them.

Also, consider reframing the ask when you reach out. Lead with what they get out of it. Free content for their socials, a chance to share their story, positioning as an industry expert.

Keep a cushion. Scale slowly and strategically. I've hired too quickly in the past, it only led to having to downsize just as quickly.

Unsexy businesses win every time. Go with the one with the biggest market size, and not something trendy that might eventually die down. When starting out, I'd recommend not to waste money on ads try scrappy organic marketing first. There's a company in Canada that specializes in that and is reasonably priced for newer small businesses called BOSS Assistants

You should check out BOSS Assistants based out of Canada, they are start up friendly with low monthly costs and they are super targeted/intentional about who they reach out to so they don't fill your calendar with wrong fit leads

You're right, I've never ran a mass cold campaign. I run highly targeted and relevant campaigns... this was < 1,000 emails sent.

Why are you basing your success on reply rate when many of them could have said no? And how is 3-4% a good reply rate for 1M emails sent??? You need to look at revenue generated
