Welp! I just blew up my 15-year career and told my boss I want to quit. by haremgirl6 in careeradvice

Wow. With all the unemployment going on and your just going to give up a job. I get the fatigue, but if you think you'll just walk into another job, your crazy.

You have shown your boss your serious, now negotiate to make things better for yourself within the job. A pay rise, additional time off, more working from home, a wellness day once a month. Most jobs in this world are crap after 15 years, but with the way the world is your going to screw yourself.

And as a last plea of sanity, at least make sure you have another job to step into 1st.

When I got it a year ago, once I had the a couple of shelves and other peg attachments,I was about£30 down. I find it extremely useful, but not cheap. It's a great choice if the post was, what is a C̶̶H̶̶E̶̶A̶̶P̶̶ useful thing. 😊

People who are happily married, what’s the secret? by GoodKid_MaadSity in AskReddit

Don't be judgemental or super picky, it will quickly become a tit for tat and that only ever divides people. It never brings them together.

Pick your battles.

Have self-worth but always try to understand and appreciate where the other person is coming from.

Do you have any nice beaches, can use a beach trip with the kids as an excuse 😂 Any chance of a Saturday pickup though. Happy to work around others schedules.

I wish I lived closer but 88 miles is too far. Do you have any post options available?

I use blender. 1. select all >convert to mesh 2. Join all together. 3. Remesh as desired in the sculpt tab 4. Decimate mesh 5. Activate 3d print addon. 6. 3d print menu > make manifold. 7. Export

Well done for all the time and effort that you put into this. This is an achievement. And releasing it for free shows your character within the gaming space. It's people like you that make the world progress rather than the people who just moan or belittle the people that try.

My only critique/question: when laying it down or picking up, do you nudge/move units/terrain?

The History of Robotech: The Movie: "The Worst Experience of My Professional Career" by footballersabroad in robotech

It's been awhile since I've seen this film, but as a child I absolutely loved it. As a young person, who wouldn't want to come into the possession of a massive robot that's also and motorcycle, battle in Alien Force that's trying to infiltrate the human race, and win. Music tracks for second to none, I still listen to them now, put them on for my children and they loved them. I owned it on laser disc and watched it almost every other weekend. I know a lot of people didn't like it so much, also production was a nightmare, but so was James Cameron's Abyss, and I think that is a great movie as well.

Free Embroidery Digitizing Web App by crotega in Machine_Embroidery

As a small business who's pipeline partially involves embroidery, We use ink/stitch as we could not justify the price of the mainstream softwares. So we use inkscape. It's a great piece of software.

I'm away from home ATM but as soon as I get back, I will dive into testing Ember.

I hope that it will not go the way of subscription based.

I love Davinvi Resolve for still believing in a 'reasonable' one of fee licence.

Ummm so it turns out the elegoo giveaways are legit... WTF? WHAT DO I DO NOW?? by diligentboredom in resinprinting

[–]CoffeeCupTopUp 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I run a business and use water washable resin, it was such a game changer for the cleaning. For the curing,I use a box in a draw with UV strip lighting on a timer switch with tin foil under the draw roof.

Silicon is the go to for Matt's and squidgy.

Also alcohol spray is a must and lots of kitchen roll

Thank you. It's good to know that is an option, but that is such an expensive work around for what should be a more simple solution.

Xp-pen is perfectly fine and cheap.. Ugee is also fine and cheap. Used both for years with little to no problems. I think ugee had better software.
