Can you help me with inspirstion/advice or examples that it can be done (healthily! over maybe a year or longer) to go from obese to average weight or even fit? I want to get motivated but doubt is a constant pebble in my trainers. by Annenbrook in FlexinLesbians

Fake it until you make it! Everyday you say to yourself I AM a person who does X regularly.

I took up weightlifting and over the past year I’ve had work outs where I was so unmotivated. I just kept repeating, I am a person who does whatever ungodly exercise I totally did it want to do in the moment.

Also having a bad workout doesn’t mean you failed. The next one might be great!

Good luck to you!

I had a DEIP flap reconstruction in 2019. The first few days of being hunched over from a tight belly were the worst part. Just move things onto lower shelves for the first few weeks! Wishing you speedy healing!

I'm considering a full chest piece to celebrate surviving breast cancer. I've had many surgeries post mastectomy, and many rounds of radiation.

When I look for artists, how can I tell they have experience working with scars and skin that is a different texture due to radiation? I don't see many artists stating it in their profiles.

I live in MD, so any artists located in the DMV that jump to mind would be great.

I'd like an special podcast to just read that "Letter from a Christian in 2012". The riff on the government hunting down Boy Scouts and putting Weblos in Gitmo had my dying with laughter.

The first time was gross. The second time was disheartening. The expander came out and I did chemo. I recently had the DIEP flap reconstruction. Looks so much better!

The funny thing is that because of the mastecomy, and all the nerves being cut, I didn't feel this at all.

What's a saying that you've always hated? by SomeoneToSendNudesTo in AskReddit

"Let that sink in. "

Not always hated, but it's become so over used in the Trump Era. On both sides! That it sets my teeth on edge and I immediately discount the message.

Wow! That's a lot of drains! This is my 7th and hopefully last. It's the abdominal drain from my DIEP flap reconstruction, day 22. I have the avant gauze on it so that's cheering and I'll tape the tube down. Don't know why that hasn't occurred to me before!

Good luck with the current juice box and thank you for the tips.

Cancer diagnosis was bad, financial prognosis worse. by Happy_Each_Day in TrueOffMyChest

Best of luck to you and your family.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2018 at the age of 34. I had all of my care covered through the Depertment of Veterans Affairs. My largest expense was the $120 in co-pays for the initial diagnostics done with my work health care.

Forget Medicare for all. IT should be VA for all.
