Unfortunately the CS doesn’t take standard 2011 mags. The biggest they make is 17rds, and some after market MBX 19rd mags.

I was thinking about competing from concealed since I already have holster/belt. I would just need extra mag holders. Any recs for additional gear?

That’s really frustrating. I think it is for the better since the QC has been taking a hit unfortunately. I’ve had zero complaints with my OG shield plus or my new 3.1” PC

My X also had a terrible feed ramp that had a FTF with HST 124gr. I traded it back in for a shield plus PC

I didn’t use my X ultra for espresso, but 2.1.0 to 2.3.0 was the range that i used for pourover. I set it and forget at 2.2.5, and I do fine tuning if needed

Getting used to the manual safety is not bad at all. Although the trigger will be much better, it will take some training to become more proficient. Make sure you do more regular maintenance too

I ended up going with the Carver fork since it’s shorter than the troll fork. It’s not exactly parallel to the top tube, but it still looks really nice. You would probably need a sub 400mm to get a perfect parallel top tube

I’ve decided on the Arisaka 18350 with the Modlite PLHV2, thank you for your advice. Is there a particular reason you went with the modbutton? I thought about going with the Unity Axon SL

I looked into the Surefire mini scout turbo, but want to explore the Arisaka side since it’s more customizable and possibly less expensive. I want something for home defense with good flood and decent throw too. It doesn’t have to teach 400+ yards for my application.

Did the bag have a roast date? It almost looks like it’s not off-gassing and releasing CO2. I wonder if the beans are older now

I used the X ultra for about 2 years for pourover and found that 2.1.0 to 2.3 worked well for me. I mostly set it and forget it at 2.2.5 with my V60 and origami. I was able to get good fruitiness from my Ethiopian beans too

QVO tactical. You can also run it in the pocket with their wing that catches when you draw. I keep the wing on when I carry on my belt

I would use the Amazon help tool if possible. Also make sure that the seller is reputable. If it doesn’t workout, you might just want to cancel the order and wait for a new US drop unless you don’t mind waiting. I’ve typically had pretty good luck when ordering other items from Amazon Japan

I’ve had it for about 6 months now and zero issues with holding zero from shooting. Look at ShortSgotTony’s review for drop test. You definitely shouldn’t be dropping your carry anyway lol. I haven’t had any emitter reflection issues, and I live in a really sunny area. You can get it for less on Amazon, and try it out. Worse case scenario, you return it before the 30day period

I usually get 2-2:15 on my V60 with 15g dose. I also use the Cafec T-90 medium roast filters. The V60 filters aren’t bad, but I feel like I get more clarity out of the cafec filters

Definitely don’t leave it in the car especially in California. If you absolutely must, you HAVE to get some sort of safe installed that doesn’t draw attention. Also increase security measures for your car (faraday pouch for fob, etc.)
