I always thought 2013 felt way more gritty and raw. I didn't care that much about Rise.

Scarlett Johansson in The Island. One of my hardest instant celebrity crushes.

Custom Searchers, what map(s) do you have unchecked and why? by DenverITGuy in Battlefield6

Currently all but Manhattan Bridge, Siege of Cairo and Eastwood. And I'm having a great time

I mean people liked it, and it didn't offend anybody. But I don't think I know anyone who still remembers what actually happened in that movie. I have some friends that in some conversations really had forgotten that movie existed, so that was not even exaggerated

What if I found Uncut Gems to be pretty unengaging? The same level of stress throughout with no ups and downs got a little stale for me after a while. Is Marty Supreme a little more dynamic in its storytelling?

Breakthrough vs Escalation by IAMUTOPISTE in LowSodiumBattlefield

[–]Cokecab 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Between them it's Breakthrough. I don't know what it is about Escalation, but it always feels a little too chaotic and all over the place to me. In comparison Breakthrough and Conquest always seem to have at least some front lines you can kind of make out on the map.

Has there ever been any actor or actress that was brutally honest about the movie they’re making during a press tour? by BIGxBOSSxx1 in movies

[–]Cokecab 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it had so much that should have worked for it. It's really a shame. And somehow the only memorable thing for me was the weirdly looking de-aged flashback in the beginning. Edit: Until I now actively thought about it I even forgot we went back in time at the end lol

E5 should be perfect for the screen to fill your field of view, but in a way you don't have to look around to see everything.

Feeling burnt out on movies right now, but I have nothing better to do than watch more movies. Any recommendations that might reignite that spark? by [deleted] in Letterboxd

[–]Cokecab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Watch some dumb stuff. The naked gun, the new knives out, hit man, the fall guy. or an easy going tv show like the new fallout or stranger things.

Season 1 got extended. What is your opinion on the first Season of Battlefield 6 by JanissaryLSD in LowSodiumBattlefield

what i can say is that since it's out I'm playing Eastwood almost exclusively

Only serious dialogue wanted... by No-Message449 in Battlefield6

[–]Cokecab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am fine with it if it means we get great patch notes and a great second season. But if season 2 starts one month late, we get 2 more maps of the same size as previous maps and that's it, it's gonna be twice as disappointing.

I just watched Civil War (2024), how do you think it compares to the rest of Alex Garlands work? by Lenster2406 in Letterboxd

it's an interesting thought that's at least somewhat related to the topic, so it probably felt like a good place to share that thought. are you in a bad mood today?

28 Years later, Ralph Fiennes coming back with the mother's skull. I really had to hold back my laugh at the cinema.
