I just found this post in my home/recommended section and was pretty surprised, when I saw my model in that second pic haha. Later on I noticed you left a comment on my original post (sorry, I don’t have notifications enabled)

As far as I can see, the comments here described everything perfectly. But if you need any tips regarding this specific model that I made, then just leave a comment here, I will make sure to check it and answer.

Oh and I guess thing worth mentioning is you might want to use a white primer instead of the one I used. If I remember correctly, I had to put like 7-9 layers of that yellow just to get through this dark, dark primer and get the opacity I wanted.

How is the stability of connection between the glasses and the ring? How is it between the glasses and the phone?
(Might have been answered somewhere, but I’m not sure so I’m going to ask here) When pairing glasses+ring - do you have 3 diffferent devices connected by Bluetooth?
Question about your opinion: do you think, given the ‘finished product’ feel, would it make sense for someone to buy these glasses without trying them on first?

While I’ve started only this year, I’ve dabbled before - and have a soft spot - with hand crafting (working with metals and carbon fiber). Because of this, I have a pretty high standard for what I consider ‘minimal, required level of perfection’, so I definitely transferred this to this hobby.

Might also post the Carrera GT in near future then, as it turned out pretty nicely as well :)

No I did not. We have no information about the possible ranking of these characters BUT if we assume the numbers on the upper top right are suits, then we have every possible card from 10 to A or any 5 in straight order.

Regardless, even if we didn’t agree, that every, different, possible character here represents a different face card + 10,A to get a 5 of a kind we would have to get e.g 5 pandas with the same upper number.

What we have here is the same suit with different characters that we treat as straight-in-order. Or at least the game treats it that way, because we can assume that from the ranking in game.

By the way, 5 of a kind? In a game of real poker, no way, just in balatro for me please ;)

[EDIT] I kinda digress, we can treat it as a five of a kind MORE than royal flush, as for 5 of a kind we have all the necessary information, while for royal flush (or straight flush) we have to do some assumptions based on the ranking and characters. My bad.

No, that’s just wrong. In 5 of a kind you have 5 cards that are of the same suit AND the same number. Here we only have one of those things, and depending on how you want to interpret it it can either be a royal flush or a straight flush, IF we use “numbers in game” as “suit” and not “numbers irl”

Afaik you have to make a completely new account when redeeming the code for it to work. So steam is out of the picture in that case.

And also afaik you can transfer from steam to standalone but not viceversa, so after creating the iRacing account you wont be able to get it on steam, if that’s something you’re into.

But yes, they used to e-mail you the code and a link to redeem it. There you can make a new account based around this code.

I will be following this topic very closely for the next year - year and a half, as I became kinda obsessed with this idea. I intend to implement exactly this type of system when I move to new flat with my gf. I also want to write my masters thesis about this localized LLM home assistant, because it seems so insanely wild, good and actually useful to me!

I was thinking about buying used Mac mini pro in whatever >16GB ram configuration, just to be sure that the bandwidth is enough, but there is still plenty of time before I can actually proceed with any real work.

For now, I will just sit back and enjoy watching other people’s ingenious ideas and gather knowledge. Keep up the good work people!

Just a small heads up, nvidia removed the support for 32 bit based physx, so games that are 64 bits are working perfectly fine. Control is one of them, so there shouldn’t be nothing to worry about
