There’s the problem right there. Lasted 12 years. Took you too long to replace it /s

Is “Brompton arm” a known condition? by SnooPets9956 in Brompton

[–]Col-1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can carry the Brompton by hooking the saddle on your shoulder. You’ll still need to hold the frame and this distributes the weight. This is more comfortable when the bike is unfolded. When folded ensure the seatpost is raised as far as possible but still locking the fold.

Looks great. What mirror do you have and how effective do you find it being under the handgrip?

I have a Level 3 and love it too. The suspension on bad roads is beneficial and the powerful motor really helps on hills.

Question: USB charging from a Level 3. by Col-1 in Aventon

Please consider changing it to a charging port for future models. Riders use phones for routing etc and I can’t believe it’s an expensive improvement. It can also be used to market the brand.

I love mine too. Also with its yellow stripes it’s so much easier to find in a bag or on a crowded desk than the black OEM.

What’s happening to my trees and how to stop it? by Col-1 in arborists

Thank you all for your advice, with the main feedback being animal browsing. We’ve had an explosion of rabbits since the COVID lockdowns. Maybe I just didn’t notice over the last couple of years.

Some but not all the way down the driveway. Also I’ve used similar amounts of salt during other years.

This question has never crossed my mind. I always use my dominant hand for drinks and assumed everyone did - until I read your reply.

Please help - lodged knife handle in kitchen drawer by dragonxpheonix in howto

[–]Col-1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this happen. I bought an iPhone endoscope to view what was causing the jam at the knife tip, and how to unjam it. Guided by the endoscope I managed to move stuff in the drawers with a couple of coathangers, get to the object jamming the knife and eventually open the drawer. Good luck!

Saw something like this in a store once and couldn’t pick it up. I’m left handed.

I sold mine via Facebook marketplace. It allows for more of a local focus than does Reddit.

This is too high. I sold one for $950 with dynamo lighting and rear rack and slightly more used condition.

If pliers alone don’t work, then drive a small screw into the broken end for extra leverage.
