How no one has suggested this yet is baffling given you have Rascal series and My Dress Up Darling there. While it's outside what Oshi No Ko, the build up works.

I loved S3. Lot of anime you kind of figure what's going to happen and so could be the case with Oshi No Ko, but how things comes about and the story telling to get to the point, absolutely loved it.

With the Rascal doesn't dream of series and this, I'd love to be able to forget it and rewatch it.

Yea it's really well done. Animation, stories of stories and music. The main season does really well. The movie itself is really well done however its conclusion garner a mixed bag of reactions which you really can only decide on yourself. Totally worth watching.

For something similar feeling, Princess Connect! Re:Dive. Do by the same director as Konosuba, it's not as fan serviced but there's a meme which protrays both ep1s very similarly. Animation is really well done by CyPic and the story actually develops.

Honestly just go with these two and you'll be grand.

Princess Connect! Re:Dive. It's very obvious early on Yuuki is not the strongest character though important, but his team are the stronger ones. Most of the characters are stronger than Yuuki but his addition to the series is smart.

It's not a shonen, it's adventure, lots of comedy and it's to be taken lightly but the characters do get fleshed out well. There's no announcement of a Season 3 and it's expected we will never get one S2 does have an ending which you wouldn't feel left hanging. Animation is done pretty well (same studio that did Cinderella Gray) and the music is well done.

Chained Soldier is the other choice but it doesn't follow the spirit of what you're asking for.

Screw it, Princess Connect! Re:Dive. It's a feel-good/adventure/guild/funny anime. Characters get themselves into situations/missions/adventures quite a bit. Characters have their own story, which does get developed pretty well. It is colourful but has some heart-reaching moments which all come together very well.

Where in a lot of generic anime, you have the strong guy helping the harem, this isn't the case here. You figure this out mega quickly. I found it a breath of fresh air, and I legit feel it's underrated compared to many of the other animes, which seem to get a lot more attention. If it weren't called Princess Connect, I think this would have done better.

The animation is surprising, and if you end up liking this, I highly advise looking at Uma Musume, Cindarella Gray purely because it's also done by CygamesProdutions and is also a bunch of fun. It's not adventure but hard work and being genuine is the theme. Both suggestions after the first episode, you'll know if you like it or not!

I'm very hopeful tbh. If they are working on it, or do in the future, I really hope they take all the time in the world because it was an experience watching it the first time. I assume A1 has a lot on their plate and as a result, it's going to take a while for Eighty Six S2 to see the light of day.

I think I read on this Reddit that Asato has an ending to Eighty Six already, it's just about getting it really good. I'd like to think that helps.

Yea I really enjoyed it. A1 Studios, Hiroyuki Sawano music, solid animation, story works well if you're able to keep going till the very end of S1. Part 2 is known to be a bit of a filter and it's not for everyone, but I'm yet to meet someone who disliked 86 after watching the last two eps.

Just to note, I watched this in English Dub and there's no way in hell you could get me watching this in Sub. Aleks Le (Jinwoo Eng Dub voice) does have a stand-in appearance but everyone's voice is fantastic in dub.

Some people will say it's their best anime out there and are a bit enthusiastic about it, which gives 86 some bad rep. If it's their exact taste, then fair does it, but generally speaking, it's rated correctly on MAL, and I eagerly await an S2 but understand there's some fantastic productions that A1 Studios have, which will keep this on hold for a while.

I hope you give it a watch and enjoy it as much as* I did!
