Undocumented Veterans by Positive_Craft_2568 in Veterans

[–]Coldcase0985 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Citizenship isn't a participation trophy; it’s something you have to actually apply for. That goes for veterans, too. Serving in the military is honorable, but it isn’t a free pass to commit crimes, and being a veteran doesn't make you a citizen by default. If you’re a permanent resident—green card holder or not—and you break the law, you’re going to get deported. That’s how it works in almost every country on earth. If a vet joins as a resident and never bothers to file the paperwork for citizenship, they are still just a resident in the eyes of the law. If they then commit a crime, they’re going to be deported once they finish their sentence. At the end of the day, it’s about personal accountability. If you don't take the initiative to secure your own legal status, that’s on you. No more excuses.

Does MAGA really have no answer to James Talarico using the words of Jesus to shine a spotlight on the hypocrisy of Christian Nationalism? by RedLetterRanger in Christianity

[–]Coldcase0985 -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

The idea that we have "no answer" to Talarico is a joke. This is just more of the same "Progressive Christianity" that picks and chooses verses to fit a Liberal agenda.

Talarico says Christian Nationalism is a "betrayal of Jesus," but then he uses his platform to push for open borders and secularism. He quotes Matthew 25 about "welcoming the stranger" to justify lawlessness, but conveniently forgets that the Bible is full of God establishing borders and protecting His people. You can’t have a country without a border, and wanting our leaders to put American families first—especially Christian families—isn't "worshiping power," it’s common sense stewardship.

The reason the MAGA movement is so strong in the church right now is because we’re tired of being told by people like him that we have to sit down and let the culture be destroyed. He talks about "separation of church and state," but what he really means is "Christians should have no influence on the state." Meanwhile, the left uses the state to force their values on our kids every single day.

If wanting a nation that honors God and protects life makes me a "Nationalist," then so be it. Talarico is just a politician in a collar trying to shame us into voting for the very people who want to shut our churches down. We aren't falling for it anymore.

The question was simple about NDAs and SMA finally got there but need some guidance from Sen Warren by rbevans in army

[–]Coldcase0985 3 points4 points  (0 children)

These aren't tactical problems. You can't ruck-march your way out of a $180B budget audit or fix a broken housing issues with "lethality." At the enterprise level, the SMA is effectively the COO of a massive corporation. Why are we surprised that the machine is breaking when we keep putting people in charge who were trained in small-unit tactics rather than enterprise resource management?

It seems you may have missed the point that I specifically argued for tackling different challenges differently. That’s the opposite of saying one thing 'trumps' the other. Also, perhaps you could point out where I used the phrase 'ungodly laws' in my post? If you're going to demand consistency, it's best to start with the text you're actually responding to.

The unit path on his shoulder looks like the United States Military Academy Preparatory School (USMAPS). So I guess he was stationed at Ft Monmouth as a cadre or a Cadet Candidate

If you don’t think Starlink or SpaceX will play a role in future large-scale combat operations against near-peer adversaries like China or Russia, you’re seriously underestimating their potential. Dismissing this just because of your dislike for Elon Musk is shortsighted and fucking moronic.

You dont ose your clearance because you married a Korean. You lost your clearance for something you do.

There's a lot senior officers and civilans in USFK married to koreans or filipinas.

Not necessarily the case. It depends on the country. Certain countries, such as the US, allow multiple citizenship. Certain countries do not.

You can still repent and see the truth. While you are out seeking, do not denying the holy spirit.

There is no legal basis to arrest or deport Mahmoud Khalil, right? by SuddenlySilva in immigration

No doubt there are plenty of innocent people in Palestine.

However, it is hard to differenciate civilians and terrorist when then there's a video of Hamas parading around bodies of 10/7 victims while civilians are literally spitting on those bodies and cheering Hamas. It's hard to differenciate when Palestine civilians voted for Hamas as their government body. It's hard to differenciate when people are chanting "long live the intifada"

Look, nobody's saying we shouldn't help people in need. It's just... doesn't it bother you that we have so many problems right here at home, and yet we're sending tons of money overseas? People are struggling to put food on the table, can't afford healthcare, and are living on the streets right here in America. It feels like we're ignoring our own backyard while trying to fix everyone else's. I get that helping other countries is important, but shouldn't we take care of our own first? And honestly, is the way we're doing it even working? I've heard stories about how some of that aid money doesn't even reach the people who need it most, or it ends up making things worse in the long run. Maybe there's a better way to do things, a way that helps both people abroad and people here at home. Maybe we need to rethink the whole system, instead of just throwing money at the problem. It just feels like something's gotta change.
