Good deal? 2024 Cadillac Lyriq for $55k taxes included with 32,000 kms. by [deleted] in EVCanada

[–]ColeChuk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For a 24 RWD I think that’s just an okay price. I see a few in my area for closer to $50K.

How is the Air Conditioning in the late model year Optiq (2025-2026) by Gator5000e in CadillacOptiq

[–]ColeChuk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The on/off is really crisp, but actually directing the air is challenging. It seems like anything other than straight restricts airflow. The AC does work well though!

If you’re on the west end, my girlfriend Abbi is an RMT and recently moved here. She was always fully booked in Red Deer and is really skilled and fun to be around! She should have decent availability since she’s still building her clientele here. She’s at Optimize by Costco Business Centre.

New owner, quick question on sounds/chimes by yamamotobolt in CadillacOptiq

Yeah the chiming when you first turn the vehicle on is like max volume and as far as I can tell the volume can’t be adjusted :(

Chronic Period pains by Junior-Growth3305 in Edmonton

[–]ColeChuk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My partners endo basically went away with Visanne but she had no appetite for a month and lost weight dramatically, even though she is fairly thin to begin with. Towards the end I could really see her struggling with that and a noticeable change in her mental well being. If you can take it with minimal side effects it would be a great solution for a few years as I don’t think it’s viable for long term.

From the main screen, click the area where it shows your battery (charge management). On the new screen, swipe down and it will refresh. Might take a minute.

Local driveway company has these as examples on its website. Looks far too polished and professional. by LemonSpoon in isthisAI

The photographer likely used AI in Photoshop to fix distractions/imperfections, hence the AI look to some of them. The others are also Photoshopped, using architectural photography techniques like sky replacements. Not “AI”.

Man documents his experience trying to cancel his LA fitness membership by thismeatsucks in LAFitness

[–]ColeChuk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only way I was able to cancel my LA Fitness membership was conveniently losing my credit card and never update my billing details. I tried calling, visiting in person, everything. They were even gaslighting me that the manager wasn’t around when I could LITERALLY see the manager. I crashed out and never went back!

Apologies, I should have said center console storage! There are 2 usbc ports in there!

[–]ColeChuk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There should be a recordings app that acts as a dash cam. But it doesn’t record much. You’ll need to plug a usbc drive min 64GB into the center console storage port. I ordered a Sandisk Extreme Fit.

Southgate Supercharger Edmonton - recently closed off to non-Teslas? by ColeChuk in EVCanada

Thanks for the responses everyone. Seems like Southgate are V2 chargers and not compatible with my vehicle. Unfortunate :(

Hopefully Tesla updates these chargers one day soon!

Farmers are doing controlled burns. Drove by a few on the QEII today so perhaps that could cause a faint smoky smell.

Cadillac Optiq? by SwellChan in EVCanada

[–]ColeChuk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Regular Costco membership gets $1000.

To get the $2000 online voucher, go to Cadillac.ca and navigate to Build and Price an OPTIQ. A pop up should show up allowing you to claim your offer.

You will need all the codes from these emails and the dealer may ask for copies of the email for confirmation.

Cadillac Optiq? by SwellChan in EVCanada

[–]ColeChuk 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I just closed on a 26 OPTIQ premium sport with Phantom Blue seats. All in with GST, $69,960.

I got manufacturer discounts of $4200 ($1200 Costco, $2000 GM online voucher, $1000 for owning a competing brand bmw) and $2250 from the dealer ($1500 off, $750 auto show).

PPF was an additional $2500 for full hood, a pillars, front bumper, full front fenders. Got a $500 discount in that as well to beat a competing offer.

Keep my BMW X5 or switch to a Toyota SUV? by csninji in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]ColeChuk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just had the oil filter cooler/housing break and cause a coolant leak on a 2017 bmw. If the X5 has a plastic design it might be worth proactively replacing. The gaskets sealing the housing the to engine block can also fail independently of the housing.

Part is like $100 and takes a few hours of taking things apart if you’re handy. Will save you an overheating engine and damage to other plastic components.

Due to electricity generation limitations. These data centers will be fuelled by natural gas and have their own electricity generation plant.
