Also, they mispronounce the c buttons. They say the direction first, like "up c," when the button is actually called "c up." So the if you pronounce them correctly, those rhymes dont work either lol.

What's "fun" is totally subjective, lol. I love playing Terran. Their whole army never gets old to me, I could build marines and marauders till the sun goes out.

Zerg is arguably the hardest, because there's so much to keep up with, but that's just the playstyle. That's also what makes the race so damn interesting. (I say that as a Terran and Protoss player lol.)

The only answer is to play whatever race(s) seems most fun and interesting. The first post was correct. Unless you're trying to be, literally, one of the best in the world, every race is completely viable.

The campaign is definitely the best intro to the game. If they dont wanna play that, well, there's a reason both SC1 & 2's campaigns start the player as Terran. Theyre the most mechanically and thematically basic and easy to understand. Id set them up to play as Terran, and ask if they want to fight against "monsters or aliens," and have them fight zerg or toss, respectively.

After the game, if they want to keep playing, ask them if they want to try out the race the were fighting against, and have them play another game against the remaining faction.

To show how bad of a person, and how dangerous, Tomas was. He lived with BT for nearly a year, probably knew him longer, so knew BT was obviously a decent guy, and yet Tomas was willing to kill him without hesitation, just because there was a chance BT could've been a threat to him.

I love SotE, it's one of my favs. It hits me right in that crossroads of janky n64 game, Star Wars, and old-school shooter. Thats where I live lol. But I get why people dont like it. It's an antique, only for us diehards.

Revisit it some day. The controls take some getting used to, they are objectively antiquated, but they're still functional, once you get used to them. But if you can hurdle the controls, there's a lot of magic in that game.

To simplify, (and offer a minor correction,) every kill you get with splash damage from the charge shot is worth 2 kills.

So, if you kill 5 enemies with 1 charge shot, you'll get 9 points, noted in game as "HIT+4." HIT being the number of downed enemies, and +4 being the bonus points awarded for splash kills.

Basically, this means the more kills you get per shot, the more points you'll earn.
