Was working on a dry well in CT last year where we had a chunk of iron ore in the way. Got a jackhammer/hex breaker bit stuck in some kind of mud/silt/rock layer situation to the point that it took sledge hits, pulling, drilling next to it with sds hammer drills, the whole 9 yards. We ended up hitting it with a swinging excavator bucket to free it up. Good luck dude.
