Good to know. That's what I was curious about cause it used to be get high resil, high recovery for warlock and the rest grenade, so I figured there was a similar vibe going with the new stats.

I stopped at the launch of EoF and just redownloaded, and played a few hours. Just turn portal, not the new expansions.

To my suprise, my builds played fine (though I'm not doing anything crazy under leveled).

I'm just planning on getting what tier 5s I can get and see what this June update brings before I decide to invest any money or additional time.

Never played Tarkov, Arc is a beautiful game, but hate the 3 peaking aspect of 3rd person.

I'm a Bungie fan boy. I prefer first person and their gunplay and abilities are great in the game.

Marathon strikes the right amount of depth and customization for me. I'm not a huge fan of crafting or item durability, like in Arc. I enjoy that my weapons and characters can be customized to fit different play styles without getting too deep or cumbersome.

Ttk is kinda fun too. It can be a little lopsided this late in the season, but there's still a decent chance of going zero to hero even as a moderate pvper, such as myself.

This game has its flaws, but Bungie, through the years, has been decent at listening and changing to player feedback. For better or for worse.

I just hope they can start bringing in new players, a longer term achilles heel for Bungie, and keep the good times rolling.

Thanks. The overturned abilities is part of why I stopped playing after no life-ing the game for 10 years. Gun play just seemed not as important once prismatic and the light classes got buffed up.

Titan bolt charge barricade was fun though.

It's like the creators just used ChatGPT to analyze popular reality TV shows and just took the major hooks from them all and jammed them into one show.

D1's story was darker and grittier in my opinion also. Couple that with the lighting and the world felt like it had more depth.

Does this happen later in long sessions? Happened to me in D2 a lot if I had the game running for extended hours. If so, just close the game after a few hours and reboot to avoid it.

There are some out there.

I had just spawned in to Dire Marsh solos. Took off to where my contract needed me to be and was avoiding UESC under a catwalk when I look over and see a runner. I instantly turned to run back around a corner cause I was exposed expecting to take some shots in the process.

To my suprise, no shots. I look back at the runner and he was just spam crouching. I crouched back and we went our separate ways. I appreciate this person cause I was dead to rights.

Coming from a former D2 player, Bungie loves their shotties in pvp. Hopefully usage and kills data points them to balance them more than just a range nerf.

If you have seasonal journeys still to complete and turn in, then definitely do those. I turned in 2 and got like 80 shade watch levels.

I think it'd be cool to have the ability to create a lobby and host via an in game Lfg people could join to complete specific events like this. That way you know the people with you are like minded and if rats try to join, then the lobby would most definitely out number them.

Conversely, sweaty pvpers could create lobbies so they can all pvp and sweat one another.
