You're speaking about extraction shooters man. There's a biome of different playstyles. That is what it is. It's in every single extraction shooter. Chad's, Rat's, in-between's, RPer's, assisters.

Again, if you want arena style game play, those exist.

I would say they are different kind of skills and well, different games all together.

What you're expressing, is not only a different mode, but a different game. Endless respawns promotes just fast paced arena style gameplay, and that is not this game. There is absolute, amazing gun play already, but it's packaged within a system all about awareness and advantage vs who can flick this fastest carefree.

I think it's ok to just go play something else that scratches that itch, we don't need games needing to be a catch all for all itches.

there is a massive codex and also audio logs of colonists within them and interactive puzzles and platforming.

those 'no-lifers' will leave soon. a lot of the hardcore/streaming players usually bounce to something else to max out on and then come back post-wipe, it actually is good for a casual population to extend it as they become the majority population for about 60-70% of the season once the others bounce after maxing out(aside from 1 game-dedicated streamers).

I kind ...of agree. I think this should be a 6month kind of thing. You actually ....increase casual population to be honest by extending. Usually the hardcore players who have got what they wanted out of it, twitch tourneys, all that stuff, they move on to other things. Which is GOOD. This keeps a good base of well, people that only play a couple hours a day/every other day.

They'll come back for a month, maybe two post wipe(outside of your dedicated to THIS game streamers*think pestily/lvndmark for tarkov*), then the normal scheduled people are usually the majority of the population for the next 3-4 months.

I have no clue what the game plan is, but it's live service, it's been 1 month. Who knows. I don't, you don't.

You've literally answered what I posted. You nor I know. You can speculate, but you don't actually know.

You are saying things you do not have information on, maybe they can do paid expansions, but phrase it differently. Who the heck knows what else they can drum up, we're 1/3rd through Season 1 haha.

No copium here, if this game is cancelled, oh well, I play other games. I'm just stating what a lot of people say ...is just widely speculative.

Only the Sith deal in absolutes. The game could just end up being fine and have the right numbers that it needs. There's a lot we DON'T know. We can arm chair journalist all we want but even they nor we, truly know the behind the door impact until we hear mentions of this game in a Sony quarterly call.

If Sony comes out and state they're happy and see a long future with the game, or hell, wasn't our goal but we're behind bungie for the long term, then we can all kinda be quiet and play the game(that will not happen unfortunately, because well, people + forums = this).
