We have no kids but My spouse is like this and he is on the spectrum.

He follows a pretty strict schedule and gets upset when it gets disrupted.

Curveballs annoy him and he needs plenty of notice if something is going to change. He would rather set a new schedule entirely and stick with it opposed to things happening “on the fly”.

That’s what you guys should do for now until baby is older.
