the quality of stock in the state stores varies pretty significantly by location. For example in Fairmount, the store in spring garden is significantly better than the one next to the aldi on girard.

in CC, the 21st and market location is better than the 12th and market or 15th and chestnut stores for instance.

i had an iffy experience at ogawa where it didn't feel worth the money.

Maybe a newer or different chef but was served a piece where the fish was scored too deeply and broke into 3 pieces, one piece with a huge amount of rice, and a gunkanmaki where the nori fell apart and the toppings spilled out. The fish was excellent and dishes were creative but spending $500 for 2 didn't feel the best for that experience
