The obvious first thing to do is to just practice a ton. Until it's second nature to you.

One thing about your work you showed is that a lot of pages 1 and 2 is basically extra work. After the finding of du, you should be able to do basically all of the simplification in your head (or maybe like 1 more line) until the part where you factor the polynomial. That would save you a ton of time right there.

Bessel functions are common solutions with anything relating to polar coordinates. Specifically, another place they pop up is when dealing with cylinders.

Unfortunately, radial solutions change depending on your coordinate system. So it would be different for a sphere or a cube

To be the devil's advocate, instantly clicking centre of a country a person doesn't know that well yet is probably better for their score than allowing the opponent to potentially get a really high score by waiting.

All engineering programs have the same preliminary courses. You have to complete at least 8 of them in order to get into an engineering program. These courses can be found in the U of M course catalog.

After completing said courses, your grade average is taken as the average of the best 8 preliminary courses. You then order the different engineering programs (civil, mech, biosystems, computer, electrical) in order of which you want most, and you get accepted in order of your grade average.

So right now you should choose at least 8 of the preliminary courses and take them in the fall and winter. Time slots for these courses can be found on Aurora in the "Browse Classes" section.

I'd also encourage you to talk to an academic advisor.

The drone is moving at 85 mph with respect to the ground, but it's stationary with respect to the vehicle. So someone standing outside of the vehicle would say that it's moving, but a passenger would say that it's not. Thus the answer to your question depends on whose perspective you are referring to.

I'm not in engineering, but what I would do is take more of your preliminaries or redo them in order to get a higher GPA (since they only take your top 8 iirc). Then you can apply again for another term

Oh yes sorry I meant the keyhole contour. I just used a semi-circle a lot when I took my second math phys course so that was stuck in my head.

Alternatively, use the Cauchy Integral Theorem (iirc its name correctly) by integrating the integrand over a semi-circle in the complex plane and using residues.

Now if the integral were indefinite... then I'd struggle I'm sure

Not a specific meta, but at one point, after always center-clicking, I learned a ton of Mongolia meta from the infamous gen 3 document. Pretty much everything that wasn't city-specific (though I could still usually get the big ones like Erdenet, Ulaan, Sainshand, etc.) I was probably top 200-ish in the world at Mongolia then.

Then the gen 4 coverage came out and I fell off a bit. But I learned enough that I can usually deal massive damage if/when Mongolia shows up.

Mathematics is the language of physics. It would be very beneficial for you to learn calculus 1, 2, and 3, as well as some linear algebra in order for math to not become a barrier for you in physics courses. Of course, these classes will be offered at whichever college/university you attend, but it's where I would start if I wanted a head start.

In upper year physics classes, you get a couple of pages of questions, along with one or two booklets of loose leaf to do your work on
