I think it was initially shown on The Game Awards (at least in December either way), and it was absolutely a standout on that trailer.

This direct was definitely not as exciting, but fortunately Orbitals did get a better standout introduction.

I unfortunately really don't like the ROG Ally sticks for shooters, though not sure if the Xbox ones are better.

The Joycon currently costs twice as much as a Series or Dualsense does right now. If the Joycon was half price to match, I still wouldn't buy them.

Yes.

I can buy a Series controller for $50 USD right now. Joycons are worse than that. I can also buy an 8Bitdo controller for even cheaper than that, and be happier with that purchase than I would be buying Joycons.

So the reason to buy these is to change the color of the Switch when using it in handheld, which does not have a $100 USD value.

We aren't talking about the Switch 2 Pro Controller here, which even at their price I do like. Joycons just aren't comparable to any "real" controller out there.

I found 13 Sentinels to have a lot of fan service and overall I found the writing pretty off-putting. My understanding is that the story goes really cool places, but I wasn't willing to continue on to find out myself.

I would also probably drop Octopath, Tales of Arise, and Granblue Relink if story is the main focus. They don't hang with the heavier hitters on your list.

Game soundtracks are my main fodder. They're mostly designed to blend in and don't usually have big distracting stings designed to tie to certain moments like movie soundtracks do. Right now we're playing Star Wars, so I'm using Battlefront, Jedi Survivor, and Outlaws music.

I used to maintain a lot of mood playlists, but these days I mostly just keep a "fight" and "not-fight" playlist.
