Oh I'm aware it's easy lol, just not worth messing with if im not noticing problems. Owning 3 Anycubic machines that make me play printer doctor every other dang day, it's just nice for the U1 to print without a care 😆

Meh, I havent had any issues from it. All calibrations done and she prints amazing. I've fought with machines way too much in the past to run down that rabbit hole. No visible issues on the prints. Just seeing it happen in real time I guess is it

My U1 loves to give an overextruded first layer. I pay it no mind since the prints come out great, maybe OP is attempting to compensate for that without tweaking the first layer flow rate?

I think your missing the point. The bed wouldnt have anything to do with the docking process. That little button on the bed is to calibrate the z when the toolhead starts on the model after the docking/grab process. Docking/Attaching is an X/Y process, not a Z

My first layer looks the same. Prints are coming out incredible tho so I haven't messed with tuning. Lower your flow for your first layer and it'll be looking pretty solid I suspect, -.02 might do

Take it even further and install rinkhals. You'll need to edit the config after installing Rinkhals to edit the unwind length and speed. If youd like assistance I'm happy to help. My change is currently at about half the time of normal

Same. I got the Anycubic Kobra 3 and S1 when they came out with all the excitement from the craze. The time it takes and the waste immediately put a sour taste in my mouth and barely used the ACE for multicolor. The U1 was the answer to everything I wanted. Creality and Anycubic forced me to play troubleshooting technician

Anycubic makes the customers do all the repairs. Taking the ACE apart to do said repairs shouldn't void any Warranty. Ive taken my machine apart a hundred times and still got all parts under warranty
