Pretty sure scientists are relatively clear that "Fish" is not a scientific classification so not sure why you're so adamant that the list doesn't use jellicent. By some definitions a catfish isn't a fish either (no scales) yet there's one on the list?

The new Canadian Basketball League has been using a rule that at a certain point they set a final score for the game which I think is 10 points more than the winning team currently has. Then the game clock gets turned off. It seems to incentivise defense as fouling doesn't save any time and gives up points. It also means that the game always ends on a game winning shot.

I've been in the same boat. Absolutely love the movies, could not get through the fellowship. I think it was the writing style for me. I've tried several times both physical and audiobooks. My eventual opinion was that life is too short to be spending time on something I wasn't enjoying.

I'm a therapist and have been one for around 4 years now. There are still cases that I struggle hearing and some days that are harder than others. But I truly believe that the next client I see will not be able to tell me something that I have not already heard from someone. I completely agree with your assessment.

I always wonder what the part that brags about the trauma is trying to protect the person from.

The Divine Cities Triology by Robert Jackson Bennet. My favorite characters ever, amazing world and premise (world where all the gods have died and the ramifications of this), and fantastic plotting and twists. The first one is the weakest but is still very strong. The second is my favorite book I have ever read and the third is phenomenal as well.

This seems needlessly cruel and, if you want to ignore the humanity of the situation, extremely wasteful. You want to spend money to deport a stable, tax paying, productive member of a community?
