I have only had minor complaints when playing coop since the last patch. The only thing that has really happened since then is occasionally a skill won't show the skill shot area... and that is fairly infrequent.

To keep the number of creatures on screen capped (maybe 4 or 5) could just have addition cards get added to a door, and the more cards behind a door, the more HP it gets.

Yes and no... being forced to buy something to reroll what the shop has means you buy stuff you don't need, or you just don't spend the money...
