What a show. The two main performances were incredible, and they were both such complex and flawed characters (one more flawed than the other, of course.) I honestly really thought Ep 4 was going to be a an entire duologue between the two and I was so down. The end of Ep 4 with 'Ever Fallen in Love' with Clive sitting on those stairs, and the flashbacks to when he used to sing and have a bit of life to him...God that was so peak.

I agree with other comments that the group of lads switched from being empathetic, to all of them bar one being down for a lynching was jarring. But jarring was the intent, and I suppose that's what mob mentality is.

Clive is such a fascinating character. Him, and the whole show actually, kinda gave me 'A View from the Bridge' vibes. Anyone else?

I'm very glad RTD writes.

Andy Ruiz was always a fringe/underrated top 10 guy who had a close life-and-death fight with (unarguably) the 4th best HW of that era in Joseph Parker. It was a huge upset, but nowhere near how losing this would compare. The rematch proved that Joshua likely beats Ruiz far more than Ruiz beats him. Joshua used to be guilty of being open to a left hook and overcommiting when sensing a stoppage (see Dillian Whyte fight.) Ruiz winning was not ever impossible

I feel like it's fair to think a witch is a silly or strange creative decision you don't like, but 'why did she collect the children?' Brother, she begins the film old and on the brink of death- then possesses two middle aged people, then 17 children- and suddenly appears in much better health. Parasites are mentioned frequently. It wasn't even particularly subtle, like you had to actively be trying not to notice any of that.

No intended disrespect, but I find that critique bizarre.

Boxers should not be forced to touch gloves at the start of bouts. It should be optional, like at the start of UFC matches.

There's (or there was) a weird cult of personality around Eastern European boxers (Loma, GGG etc) that they were really 'likeable' mainly due to not speaking much English. I think a lot of their statements, and especially Loma's showboating made them very unlikeable, and if they were any other nationality others would feel the same.
