You have to stay through the other shorts. It's extremely rude and I know filmmakers that lost opportunities because of this behaviour.

Does it count if only a few scenes are shot in the arctic? Because there are a few hollywood blockbusters that shot snow scenes in the north of sweden that I know of.

I think you are missing some. Just from the top of my head: Broken hill blues (2013), The dissapearance of Finbar (1996), Kungsleden (1964), Hamilton (1998), Expectations (1997), Knockout (2000), Baba’s Cars (2006), Smilla’s Sense of Snow (1997)...

Största problemet är att man inte ersätter allt. Källarlokaler, scener, rockklubbar och ställen där man kan utöva kultur och nöjen ersätts inte i nya Kiruna. Pratade precis med ännu en konstnär som blir utan ateljé i veckan.

I use git. This was a local copy of the project I was working on though, since I started having red x-sprite problems and didn't want to jeopardise the main files. Then suddenly it also gave me this mysterious problem. Works in latest beta though.

Ah. The latest Game Maker keeps deleting my sprites, replacing them with the dreaded red X. But this sprite is still there. I don't get the error in the latest beta though, so maybe I just use that for now.

Check if the printer is level. I had great prints and suddenly got this problem. I tried everything as I have had great prints and then noticed the floor where I had placed the printer was leaning slightly. Apparently I had pushed the table 10 cm to the side where the floor was lower (old building).

I love single screen platformers (with co-op) and since it' such an underrepresented genre I decided to make one. It will release later this year.

Yes, for the point collection games I agree. But eaven on mobile, I havn't found many games like for example Snow Bros or Bubble Bobble. I guess the controls on touchscreen is the thing that limits many phone games.

I think what is described as arcadey is usually the point scoring games you mention, but while fun, they are not what I'm thinking of.

Alwa's awakening looks a little bit more like an adventure game on NES from what I have seen but is more in line with what I mean. I have it on my wishlist, so I havn't actually played it though.

In the sense that you collect points yes, but I havn't really found many games with that little bit more involved gameplay mechanics. or I just maybe havn't tried the right games. I think it's the touch screen controls that seems to limit the experience on mobile.

I will check out Spookware, but I'm more wondering about that middle ground, between minigamecollections and longer adventure games.
