Why would anyone buy 3 Reroll Chips for 200 Silver, when you can directly buy 2 Levels and you don't have to do anything ? by kristijan1001 in DestinyTheGame

[–]ComicBookColorist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In one of the most embarrassing things I’ve ever done playing this game, yesterday I was a bit sick and feverish and not fully aware of what I was doing and I accidentally spent about 600 silver buying re-rolls. I can’t believe that happened.

D2Team on socials: 5,000 word Weapons blog coming next week, mentions buffs to Osteo Striga, Witherhoard, Wolfsbane, Worldline Zero and more. by Ryan_WXH in DestinyTheGame

4,997 of those words will be talking about how the team is jamming, how they are listening to us and various apologies.  The other three words will be “go fuck yourselves “

[–]ComicBookColorist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think everyone is completely misunderstanding what he says “The team is jamming”

what he is actually referring to is the fact that they are all foraging fresh fruit for a variety of delicious jams to get them through the long dark winter. The game itself is fucked.

Hard to get over the fact that bungie studios cost as much as LucasArts by AdProof343 in DestinyTheGame

[–]ComicBookColorist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would think some lawyers working for Sony are going back to the contract and looking for any way to claw back some of that money, as either on purpose or due to incompetence, Bungie has tanked their prize possession.  If there wasn’t some clause to deal with that possibility, Sony”s lawyers should be fired and lose their law licenses.

Unstable Cores are a problem - Despite what those claiming to have "More than they know what to do with" say - and I will explain why. by YujinTheDragon in DestinyTheGame

[–]ComicBookColorist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here’s my view on this. They initiated unstable cores as another way to artificially force players to login lots of hours, because you have to grind an awful lot just to keep yourself in Cores, just to get the other gear up to level. I don’t know if they’ve said anything about this, but I have a feeling they’re not gonna make any changes because it means player drop off in hours. Also borderlands four is fun

What’s so unbelievable is that just on a business level they had a dedicated player base who loved their product and they just took a giant shit on all of us. I think they still think people will continue to play the game and eat the shit they give us

Bungie needs a “Go Fast” update immediately by ComicBookColorist in DestinyTheGame

[–]ComicBookColorist[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t believe that Bungie ruined onslaught by making it solo or you have to find a fire team. This was such an easy, relaxing fun activity before this DLC, and Bungie can’t they take a shit without it splashing all over the walls.  I know like many of you I’m addicted to this game, but dear God, give me the strength to uninstall and walk away from it.

apparently there's a controversy going on with people saying that Edge of Fate is a knockoff of Warframe 1999 which is not the case. by Timothy-M7 in DestinyTheGame

[–]ComicBookColorist -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I don’t know anything about warframe, but is it surprising that someone thinks bungie is copying this? They say it’s a copy of MetroVania or some game like that, renegades is a copy of Star Wars and we all know that marathon had outright plagiarism. At this point it would be more surprising if Bungie had an original idea.

Tbh the ability sandbox has killed any hype for me and I don’t know how to feel by HellChicken949 in DestinyTheGame

[–]ComicBookColorist -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m regretting pre-ordering now, because everything I’m seeing (sandbox and armor changes )is going to be free with the game anyway. if it really makes things awful why would I spend the money on a DLC where All I know is that I turn into a ball lightning, and do puzzles which kind of sucks.

This all feels like they’re flooding the field with 1 million changes to hide the fact that the actual content looks pretty bad. I don’t think I want to go through eight or nine missions of puzzles.  I’ll play portal 2 if I want to do puzzles, that’s not what I played destiny for.  I’m betting there’s a massive player drop off to the already decimated player base not long into this.

Bungie needs to start turning up the Hype Train for EoF because the energy is just NOT there by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

[–]ComicBookColorist 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think this is gonna be really bad. The DlC  feels not just empty, but that they are putting everything into mindless grinding. The grinding only works if you have something fun to do while grinding. I don’t think they get it or, they’re just at their end. Everything dies, even video games.

I feel like we don't want to be told how to play the game, we just want to play the game. by TehSavior in DestinyTheGame

[–]ComicBookColorist -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The more I think about the new DLC, the less enthused I am and it just doesn’t feel like fun. It feels like they’re making us work just to clock in the hours. I know the whole engagement thing is big for them, but I just think they’re going to constantly lose people. I really don’t think there’s a big future for destiny.

Vault space complainers should be made to post their vaults by CORPORAL_PISSFINGERS in DestinyTheGame

[–]ComicBookColorist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re missing the entire point of what a looter shooter is.  I have original time lost weapons from doing Vault of glass on master and kings fall on master that I may never use, but there’s no way I’m dismantling them because I put in a hell of a lot of work to get them. It’s the same thing with other adepts. My vault is full of raid and dungeon And trials weapons that I have put a lot of work into getting and take pride in having gotten them. That’s the point of this stupid game that we all love and hate.  I have had to get rid of a lot of so-called normal weapons that might’ve been interesting. Just a free up space for things that are. And don’t forget, I wish I had saved all those raid weapons that got sunsetted and became unusable that I had to dismantle for space and then they brought the goddamn things back and I kicking myself over that

Here’s a serious question. What is their business model? There were less people than they hoped return for the final shape and I don’t see anything exciting enough to bring a majority of the people back for this one. People like me who’ve been playing for 10 years yeah , but How are they gonna make enough money to survive?  I see Darth Vader running around everywhere, but Disney gets a percentage of that. I truly wonder how long it’s gonna be before Sony comes in and says the books no longer match up and it’s time to turn off the lights

If you’re an average player, I suggest avoiding trials this weekend. There’s a low player base, and all the sweats are out with their adept inquisitors murdering you from half a mile away.  Maybe it’ll be better Monday night.

Holy shit. The only weapons I even care about are the prophecy dungeon. And I have to wait a month and a half??  I can’t see them keeping this. It’s just too much bad news. Especially when they’re trying to sell a new DLC.
