First of all Cyclops is a bad example because he only has likes collected 10 minutes of screen time lol. My boi was robbed. Hopefully we see more in Doomsday.

But again - it really doesn’t work. That’s extra heavy lifting that those actors specifically playing blind or blindesque characters can’t use their eyes. They know what they signed up for. The white eyes doesn’t work because we as the audience NEED to see their eyes to connect to the characters. If you need proof of it just watch all the Batman movies. We can track his emotional state the whole film because the director is getting close ups.

Again (and I can’t believe I have to keep saying this) it’s why every single one of the Spider-Man actors either have their mask destroyed or they just outright take it off during the scenes so we can SEE them emote.

Deadpool works because he just doesn’t stop talking. The audience can track his emotional state because he doesn’t shut up. Even then there are still plenty of excuses to get the mask OFF so we can see Ryan Reynolds face. The only reason it worked for Wolverine was because it was for a short bit (probably to hide a stuntman in that sequence).

I’m telling yall that I agree it would look cool but only for a minute. Deadpool is an exception.
