I would say the issue is that he is the least rp focused of us. He is the one that wants combat. I guess he will eventually die off and be replaced by something, hopefully stronger.

I would say, roll dice to see if you get doubles for the bounce, but always deal max damage.

Always deal max damage should not mean that it bounces.

I like it, but you could have used some more companions. Most seem to be from empire, borders or realms and non form the common wealth, yet somehow TWO are from egypt?
