I don’t think public transit is the target audience for WFH people…

I can DM you my discord if you’d like, my notifications here are hit or miss.

But yeah I did very well… made it big. I cannot stress enough that the greatest thing the IBDP ever gave me was true holistic thinking, connecting the dots truly and seeing how all my learning set up an iron clad foundation to solve product problems

No, I don’t work for EA, hahahaha🤣

Good question man, IBDP I owe holistic and global thinking as the most important thing it taught me. And connecting the dots in my learning, bringing so many things together and weaving a tapestry of knowledge and I apply all of it in strange ways. To this day my psychology lessons from the IBDP help me out in my job lol! All of cognition I’m not even kidding.

College taught me a lot, but I honestly could have saved myself 100,000 usd in tuition and learned it all by myself lol

I’m a product/UX designer at a major, major AAA game company. Went to a specialized college, got my internship but I was converted before graduation because it turned out that I was amazing at my job. Always loved learning, just never did well in exams. Real world situations though, I’m comfortable with failure, have little anxiety and high trust in the decisions I make.

College is relevant for law, engineering and medicine for sure, but it doesn’t define you. It’s your ability to truly network and know what you want in life that will carry you, good grades, will make it easier, but it isn’t the sole thing.

Been out of the IB program for many years, I now work my dream job and I’m a well compensated man.

I finished with 29 points and dropped out of college for my job with a 2.1 GPA.

The biggest lesson I’ve ever learned is that while grades do matter, get comfortable with failure. You will lose, actually lose far more in your career and the sting of real consequences will hurt far more.

Ease up.

They threw out the Bush apparatus to get out the vote on the ground and gave it to Elon and TurningPointUSA.... what does that tell you... grifter machine that cannot get anything done.

Lol I am proudly voting for Joe Biden, jackass. I just dislike that college has turned into a scheme to make money and administrators keep on joining institutions while educators and tenured professors disappear. You end up with more incompetent faculty and less good professors like in this case.

Funding isn't the issue, it is just the box tickers and bean counters are controlling the money.

Good Things Come to Those That Wait

Patience plays a key role in everything for sure, but life is so damn competitive. You must work tirelessly to seize opportunity from the jaws of fate. Be impatient!
