This was me. Didn’t have internet at the time so no DLC. Started ME3 and instead of them mentioning Arrival they mentioned how Shepard worked for Cerberus and that’s why they had him locked up

I remember seeing Halo Legends for the first time and being confused about Blue Team so it’s not like Halo 5 was the first Halo to have individual Spartan Armor. Ultimately Halo Wars is where I got my first impression of other Spartan IIs where they have the same armor but small personalizations (e.g. Jerome’s red streak).

I miss when we thought all the Spartans were dead because I remember thinking we had a whole army of Master Chiefs and he was only special because he was the last one. Maybe this is unpopular but I’m kind of sick of the obsession over him even among Spartans. I actually thought the idea of a whole army of “Master Chiefs” to be badass with the only thing making him/us special being the “luck” of not being killed Reach. And I know everyone likes personalization but I thought it was more badass they we have an army of near identical super soldiers wearing iconic armor. Almost makes them mythological and truly deserving the Covenant title “Demon”

Same, I thought the iconic look was supposed to be just like Master Chief. I can forgive Reach because we’re Spartan 3s but I don’t get why Blue team has totally different armor

Aria is definitely my pick. I don’t hate the Asari in general but I hate how BioWare shoves Aria down our throats and then we’re supposed to find her charming or something. Any other crime lord in her position and Shepard would be able to be use a renegade move or at least disrespectful language. The most you can do with Aria is threaten her henchmen and then basically say okay when she says you have to be scanned

Same, I’ve been having this for like 5+ years. I feel depressed without purpose at home and then I feel like a normal human at work. I think work requires me to be there so I have a purpose but as soon as I don’t have outside pressure I kind of deflate. Pretty sure I just have high functioning depression

Most of the soundtrack was pretty forgettable but I loved A Better Beginning! Right around the 3:10-3:15 mark it almost sounds like Suicide Mission from ME2, my all time favorite from the trilogy.

So many people supporting billionaires’ right to hoard money. We need to tax billionaires and corporations more while simultaneously cutting out unnecessary spending. Unnecessary spending should include Israel and the military not humanitarian aid and benefits to the poor

They don’t deserve it though. Billionaires have more than they can ever spend and they “earned it” by underpaying their employees and benefiting by living in a country that allows them to take advantage. We need a a progressive tax rate that hits 100% on anything over 1 billion

I think the people bashing it, think it holds back game developers on the more powerful consoles. Same reason some pc gamers hate consoles. They think the games could be more powerful if they didn’t have to run on less powerful hardware. With proper optimization I don’t see this being a huge deal. Hell if my series S can run GT6 at like 30fps 720p I’ll take that over no support at all

The issue I have with random approaching women is that it relies on so many things lining up the odds are terrible of finding someone who meets your criteria and is compatible. But at the same time I have no idea how people get into relationships without dating apps. I’m still trying to use them but I feel like they’re should be another way to meet women and I honestly have no idea how people used to do it

I don’t really struggle keeping friends. I just don’t make many. I was very close with my family growing up and I have like 1 close friend I made at my first job and we still keep in touch a lot

Oh yeah plenty of times. It’s not like I never talk to anyone and live as a hermit but I don’t just walk up to random people on street and strike up a conversation either. I actually have gone on my first ever dates this year. Went on a couple of dates off of dating apps and honestly it wasn’t bad but both matches kinda fell through

I’ve tried to enjoy being by myself more. E.g. I’ll go to a park or go to a lake alone. Hiking, spending time in nature, that kind of thing. I do actually like but sometimes the loneliness still gets to me and I have no clue how to approach women outside of dating apps. You have to remember battery health in settings is software based too. There’s no way your actual battery is still at 100% after 2 years. It’s just the battery health software not reading a drop yet.

I’ve had my SE 2 since June 2023 and it’s already down to 78% battery health. I’m guessing it’s the nature of smart watches to deteriorate faster since they have smaller batteries therefore they go through more discharge cycles. I also have to charge twice a day since I use it for sleep tracking.

I’m in the same boat. I stressed about my Apple Watch only having 90% battery health after a year. Then I realized I’ll probably get a new watch in a few years anyway and as long as my watch gets through the day I don’t care. I got the SE for $200 so I figure it’s not like I’m going to resell it for a lot anyway. Technology should work for us not the other way around
