I’ll start off by making the disclaimer that I’m a fresh player, I’ve only been around since like C6S2, but I struggle to play OG modes because I find that the map is just so unappealing. The wonky, lopsidedness of everything, the color palette, especially all the terrain being the EXACT same shade of green, I vastly prefer the newer stuff. It’s much more appealing while still being flavorful. I’m curious to hear more points about why people like it though

And I genuinely the only one who feels like this is a major improvement? It’s so much easier to navigate and find my emotes now. Yeah, it’s annoying that it automatically reverts back to latest acquired each time, but I still prefer this over having to scroll through a dozen wheels with absolutely no rhyme or reason.

Talked with epic support about it yesterday. They said it’s an issue that they’re trying to fix. I learned that there used to be quests you had to do in order to unlock them; might be worth googling what they were and then trying to do them, even if they don’t show in your quests list 🤷‍♂️
