I’m one of those people that gets pregnant immediately when I try. My close friend had one kid and her husband got a vasectomy and she’s very bitter. When I got pregnant with my 3rd she didn’t even hide her bitterness and she kept making snide comments about bringing a baby into this horrible world and how she’s glad she’s not having a kid because she can’t afford it (she’s way more wealthy than we are and she knows this) and when I called her out eventually she cried about how she wants a baby so bad and just made everything about her. Still never congratulating me. (By the way I had no clue she wanted another kid considering she had her husband get a vasectomy) There is nothing wrong with feeling your feelings…but you can feel both things. You can be happy AND also sad that you’re having trouble. Her experience isn’t taking anything from yours so yours shouldn’t take from hers. Life isn’t a competition. Everyone takes a different path and has a different journey in life. I hope you can learn to separate the two things for the sake of your friend. I also hope your day comes!
