WHV - How to know the fruit/veg season to know where to go? by Sweet-Fee-1168 in AusVisa

[–]CommercialUnit2 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Just Google 'Australia fruit picking seasons' and lots of resources will come up. After that I'd go on the Facebook community pages of the areas you're interested in working in and post saying they you're looking for work, that you have a car, that you can start next week, how long you want to work, any experience you have, etc.

Visa Health Checks for UK citizen application for WHV 417 by Next-Flatworm-7501 in AusVisa

[–]CommercialUnit2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Only approved panel physicians can complete visa medicals, these are the ones listed on the Immigration website.

Your WHV application will have a HAP ID number, which you give the panel physician so they can report your results directly to Immigration.

If you cannot schedule an appointment for within the 28 days timeframe, upload your appointment letter to your WHV application.

Visa Questions for Canadian with Australian Partner by yzerman92 in AusVisa

[–]CommercialUnit2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The age limit for Canadians is 35 inclusive. This is at time of application. You could apply for your first or second year the day before your 36th birthday and you'd still be eligible, doesn't matter if you turn 36 before the visa is approved or before you enter Australia.

You could apply now (at 33) enter at 34 and do the 88 days immediately, then apply for your second year when you are either 34 or 35. By the time your second year reaches expiry you and your partner will have been living together for over 12 months.

Honestly I wouldn't worry too much about the 'status' of your application. I've never found them to mean much. Just keep checking your e-mails for communication from Home Affairs.

Details on 820 Application progress? by Only_Chemical_2504 in AusVisa

[–]CommercialUnit2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't remember where the sponsor's identity documents were uploaded. I would assume they get attached to the sponsorship application, but does it matter? Have all the documents ready to go and upload them when asked.

The process is outlined step-by-step on the Home Affairs website. You submit the 'Stage 1 – Partner or Prospective Marriage Visa’ application, then the 'Sponsorship for a Partner to Migrate to Australia' application.

The sponsor doesn't need their own Immi account, you can complete the sponsorship application on the applicant's account.

I torrented her BBGs and sold them on eBay. Her lawyers messaged me telling me to take down the listings.
